Jade Cabin under the Hair Salon Question

We have a chance to upgrade to a mini suite on deck 11. At first, I Yelled NO WAY, pool, exercise room etc. above on deck 12. However one cabin is under the hair salon/library. Being a light sleeper I usually prefer sandwich cabins (cabins above/cabins below) but it might be nice to have a little extra cabin/and bathroom space.

Does anybody have experience staying in this area. Specifically...Noise? Many thanks in advance!

Thanks Linda. We`re looking at a cabin very near there. Is it worth the extra $140? Is the tub (instead of shower ) basically the only difference?

We like this forward location on the Jewel class ships. Just booked 11016 on the Jade for next year. In addition to the tub, the room is a bit longer between the bed and the balcony door. The sofa is larger than a regular balcony room and the balcony itself is a bit bigger. We think it is worth the extra $.

We`ve gone ahead and booked the mini-suite and got a $140. OBC which pretty much made it a wash!

Unless someone gets stabbed by scissors during a haircut, there shouldn't be noise associated with being under the salon!
