Pacific Princess Deck 3 Cabins Question

Has anyone stayed in the cabins on Deck 3 of the Pacific Princess? How are they from a noise standpoint? Are the tender platforms noisy? What is under those cabins--anything that creates noise early in the morning or during the night?

Thanks from a very light sleeper!

We stayed on 3 aboard the Ocean Princess once. Noise I think will depend on where on deck 3 your cabin is located. We were mid-ships and I don't recall any major issues, but what makes a "light sleeper"? Hard to calibrate to that. Tenders will operate generally during waking hours so unless you want to sleep in till 10-noon during a tender port should not be an issue.

Stayed on Deck 3 several times;

usually mid-ship.

Great location

The tenders are forward.

Can not recall any noises either from underneath or the tenders.

Have no idea what is below Deck 3.

We usually pulled into tender ports about 7:00 A. M.

They are quiet as a tomb. The only drawback is that you can only use the aft elevator and staircase to access the other locations on the ship. You'll disembark (mostly) from Deck 3, but the crew office is located between those passenger cabins and the gangway /tender platform. So you have go up one flight, forward, and back down to Deck 3.

I did a few cruises ago, and was very happy down there near the bottom of the ship. It was quiet, and the ride seemed quite smooth. The only thing different about the cabins was that they had a porthole instead of a window or balcony, but that at least provided daylight and some views of the scenery. All the furnishings are the same, including the loveseat.
