Rental Cars at Port Everglades?

Does anyone know if their is a rental car agency at the port? We have a 6:pm flight and would like to rent a car for the day. Was trying to avoid paying cab fare to the airport and picking up there.

There are no rental cars inside the port proper. Will have to catch a shuttle or cab to your choice

They are very close. And will provide shuttle or just a short hop on a taxi

Dollar is just in the entrance of port everglades. They provide shuttle.

Which date were you booking for? I'm seeing $36/d, pickup from Port Everglade and returning FLL airport, for Sept. 1.

Rates for pickup FLL and returning Port Everglade were not good either.

Is this rental company reputable and does it offer good service? Are the cars new?

I have researched and found it is a global company (germany based) and expanded throughout the world. I got a really good quote through economy car rentals dot com ... 9 days SUV for $266 USD but are the cars reliable?
