scott_gallant Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Hi there, We are cruising out of Port Canaveral in March and plan a day trip to Universal Studios (mainly to see Harry Potter) a couple days before the cruise. In Googling, it seems there are some companies that offer discounted tickets. Does anyone know if these are legit? Any recommendations on which to use? Thank you, Scott
JohninDC Posted October 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Many of those require you to sit through a time share presentation; my time is too valuable. Check with AAA for discounts.
sprockie Posted October 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2014 We bought tickets at Maple Leaf Tickets dot com. We've been to their store in Kissimmee and have always had good service and luck. I just like the name of the business too! I know for sure that even the Universal website is cheaper than at the gate.
BlueHerons Posted October 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Actually, I would hold out because depending upon the time of year, you can get two days admission for the price on one day. Very often, Publix will have these tickets. If not, call the box office.
jennmaybe Posted October 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Our Costco sells tickets every Spring/Summer for Universal and they're cheaper than buying them at the box office.
NoWhiners Posted October 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2014 lots of good suggestions above, here is another option--undercovertourist.com. They include tax and free shipping (via mail) and are legit. If you join MouseSavers.com you can get a discount (its free). We just came back from a trip to Orlando and used undercovertourist for universal tickets; we used them the last time we went too. They also sell tickets to Disney, Seaworld, and other attractions (like dinner shows). good luck--hard to see even just HP in 1 day!! ML

I just recently heard about undercovertourist.com, but wasn't sure how legit it was. I'm glad to read about someone using them and not having any problems.
