How do you get anything from the casino? Do you get casino cash on your next cruise? I played a lot last cruise and had over 5000 points, is that worth anything at all? I called and they said there's nothing...even Carnival offered something when I didn't play as much...TIA

They said there's nothing. No discount, no casino cash, nothing. The casino host told me to call, but when I called it's was like there's nothing for you. Does anyone have a contact at Oceans Player Club that is for Princess cruises?

I wonder if you had the same casino host that I had the first week of a B2B last year. Almost invisible, no drinks, no perks, nothing at all.

2nd week a new host was on, got drinks, chocolate strawberries, bottle of wine and a letter with a number to call after I had made my next booking to claim $75 casino credit, which I unfortunately could not use within the time limit.

Guess I am out of luck with Princess. The thing is, I spoke to the casino host on day 1, she said it depends on my play, and if I get 5000 points, then I would be eligible for dinner for two in specialty restaurant. When I got 5000 points, she said oh it's too late and the fact that she got me sodas while I played, there's nothing else that she could do. Don't promise one thing and then not follow through with it. I was elite, I had plenty of free soda to drink in my cabin, didn't have to get the soda in the casino.

Absolutely. Plus the games are better on NCL. Epecially Craps.

After my next cruise on Princess, I'll do two on NCL. Hopefully they will get me better perks. Do you have to earn a certain number of points to get things from NCL? I think if you have more than 1500 points, you get free drinks, but when do you get the comp room or other stuff from NCL?

If you need to ask or search out the host, you aren't playing enough. Plain and simple.

The pit bosses watch your play, and track it electronically. Doesn't take much before they start offering free drinks, and gettingvto know you. Then the host will see the numbers in his/her office, or the pit bosses will tell him/her.

Then everytime you enter the casino they will bend over for you.

They care more about the table players than the slot players in my experience.

That's assuming you have a competent host working.

Amen to that! I was at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi and the guy next to me was playing 2 hands at $200.00 a hand. He had to beg for a steak dinner.

Two days later same table different crew I am offered the same dinner and I was playing $20.00 a hand.

I was down at the Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas one time. I was playing Blackjack for $50/hand minimum. Talked to the casino host before I left about perks when I returned. He told me I was rated at $25/hand. We had a small conversation about that.

I just read on another post NCL was upping the amount you play(lose) to qualify for comps. Just off comped Epic cruise and hated that casino. Played only 3 nights for short time. Lost about $1200 (not 1 hit) and only managed about 500 points. Glad I already booked (and paid) for October cruise as probably would not have qualified for comp.

As for Princess, got 1 free drink 1 night... I do get offers for reduced fares and casino cash of about $500 but have never taken them up on it.
