I just got a quote of $120 for round trip for 6 people, including 1 wheelchair to Mr. Sancho's from Carnival Triumph port for next Saturday. Is that normal?

That sounds either very high (if in dollars) or very low (if in pesos).

Is this a private shuttle charging per person instead of a taxi?

Yes, I think it's a private shuttle. It's in US $ and they want me to reserve and pay via Paypal in advance. No thanks!

The total amount? That would be unusual.

Have you tried the taxi union direct or one of the private drivers recommended on here, although they would be a more expensive option if you only want to go to Sanchos as they have a 3 hour minimum and you would be paying for waiting.

Is it a collapsible wheelchair in which case I wouldn’t think there would be a problem with ordinary van from dispatch? There are some adapted vans with lifts but not many so you may have to wait. I would be sure to arrange a return time in advance in that case.

Is Sanchos accessible, I have never been there?
