kito42 Posted April 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2015 We were given $100 each OBC by the TA. I will have no problem spending mine on a soda or coffee... He, on the other hand, has the premium drink package, so will spend none there, and is not interested in the spa. We will NOT be doing the specialty restaurants. Where can he spend his? Can he use his credit to buy me sodas or coffees? If so how will that work since he has the package? If that doesn't work can we use it in the casino? Rare Azulann Posted April 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Your OBC from a TA will show up on your sea pass account after the first day or two. Are you sharing one account for both sea passes? Or each have their own account with own credit card backup? Beware that OBC is for state room, so which name was the booking done? I sail with my sister. Last time I had to go to guest relations to have the OBC divided between our two accounts. All of it was under my name. Yes, you can use it in the casino, play bingo, buy items in the shops... flames9 Posted April 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2015 And if it is from ur TA.....anything left over will go back on to ur credit card, and urs to keep
kito42 Posted April 15, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted April 15, 2015 We have one credit card for both of us so I guess that means we share the credit? I can buy $100 worth of drinks then? That would be ideal. I don't think we want to play bingo or buy anything from the shops. I might drop $20 in the slot machines but otherwise I can't see us spending money on anything but drinks. kito42 Posted April 15, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Opps, make that $200 worth of drinks.... or $180 and $20 in the slot machine! :D

ClaudiaB Posted April 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 15, 2015 It should be NO problem to spend it. Do a specialty restaurant. Get some internet time. Buy a shirt or something in the shops. Let him buy you a couple more drinks after your OBC is gone.

miched Posted April 15, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Are you both getting $100 OBC or is it per cabin? If you are sharing the same cabin and the same credit card and donor tell them to separate the accounts they will show as separate folios on board but are merged as a joint account at the end and the money will be used to settle the account. If the money comes directly from your TA and is not from a promo the SBC should shown on your account as refundable and any unused will be added to your credit card.
