Labadee

must fish

To answer your question, I have been their 6 times over the years, and to this day have never seen a fisherman.

Not saying that there are not any, but note, the waters around the area are over fished due to the area being a food source for the locals.

You may find an eel or two, or small "throw backs", but nothing to make you reel go nuts.

Save it for one of the excursions on the other islands, Cozumel or Grand Cayman.

Safe travels.

Does anyone know if shore fishing is allowed on Labadee? I always bring a breakdown rod and tackle when cruising and was hoping to find a spot on the island to fish.

I doubt it but you should ask Royal Caribbean. I have never seen anyone fishing at Labadee or any of the other private islands.
