just booked the freedom, need hotel advice

we are going on the fos on febuary 28 and we need a clean, reasonably priced hotel with a shuttle to and from the airport. any suggestions would be appreciated and also whats the best way for 9 people to get to port from Orlando. thanks

I would take a shuttle (Cortrans, $20pp) to the Cocoa Beach area, and stay in a hotel there.

I highly recommend the Country Inn and Suites. It's the closest hotel to the port. You can see the ship from your room. The shuttle takes you to the ship for free.

Yo can also get a lot of good information on the Florida Departures Board.

We've used the Residence Inn in Cape Canaveral several times. Very nice property.

We are using Orlando Chauffeured Services round trip from MCO to our hotel in Cocoa Beach and ship to MCO. Private luxury van for 7 is $40 each round trip including tip. It is a flat fee so would probably be less for 9 people. They meet you at the baggage claim and include one stop - grocery/liquor store [emoji846]. BTW, we are on the same sailing and have about 70 people registered for a Meet and Mingle if you are interested in joining.

We have stayed there three times. They have a good shuttle, decent parking (unpaved), and breakfast in the morning. More reasonably priced than other hotels with shuttles. Must register for shuttle time when you check in.

Google fly and stay packages for cocoa beach hotels, it will give you many choices!
