I am taking a back to back out of Houston in January. Does anyone know what their procedure is there, US Immigration wise? We are staying in the same cabin the whole 2 weeks. Tampa and Miami each have different procedures for this. I'd like to be prepared;)

You don't say which cruise line . It varies by cruise line and port.

Normally they give you your new cruise card the day before with instructions. They will tell you told to meet in a lounge a a given time, escorted of the ship , thru US immigration . Then you'll wait until the ship is zeroed out that's when you'll be allowed to board again,

we did a back to back in april out of houston. they give you a cruise card a day or 2 before the 2cd cruise. if you book the same room you dont even have to unpack they just have you meet somewhere [they give you a letter with the card]and them walk you thru customs ahead of all show you card and back to the ship. bonus ; YOU GET A GET OUT OF MUSTARD DRILL card [okay so it;s a green dot on your card. just show the dot if someone tells you you have to go to the drill.you still get your booze the last night before cruise no 2 so if you dont want it yet let them know. have fun:):)

Sorry, not correct for all lines. I can't even believe it's allowed for any line, but whatever. OP is sailing NCL; you sailed on Princess. We have done a few B2B's on Royal and you MUST attend the Muster Drill even if you are a consecutive cruiser.

OP, please try not to worry about it. You will know soon enough. :);)
