tom_uk Posted December 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the link. Not a bad ad. (I liked the on-screen note at about 25 seconds: "Facilities, room sizes, chefs and cover charges may vary".) Was that Captain Carr near the end? And in the shot immediately after that (51 seconds), they've removed the ship's name. Edited December 17, 2014 by tom_uk
chigley Posted December 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2014 I like it. Good balance of showing how good the ships are without over promising the whole experience Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Enjoyacruise Posted December 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Thanks for posting the link. It was filmed on the Ventura in October on the Venice-Genoa leg of our cruise. The film crew got on with Rob Bryden in Venice. very enjoyable to watch the filming which went on around the ship over a few days. The dance sequence took nearly an hour to film and takes about a second in the advert! On the ship they said it was to go on the TV in the advertising break of Downton Abbey on Christmas Day.:)
jaceyar Posted December 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Love the shot of him on an empty deck on a sunbed - as if!
jeanlyon Posted December 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Also with the canal in Venice right behind the ship - hardly! Well, not any more anyway.
CCFC Posted December 18, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) EDIT: How do you embed videos on this forum? The YouTube tags don't seem to work. Sadly HTML code is off for us mere mortals. On a similar theme there is a new Britannia video out: Must say its looking better every day. Edited December 18, 2014 by CCFC
