Hop on hop off bus tours

The last time we were in Cadiz, you could see the HOHO buses from the ship, next to the docks.

I didn't see them in Cartagena, but there's a small tourist shop next to the dock. Someone on our cruise asked about transport in there, and they were told about taxis which gave a tour of the town, using an English CD, and stopping at the main sights, such as the Roman theatre. They were pleased with that experience.

Here are the results of a search on the Spain ports of call forum dealing with HOHO buses.

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/search.php?searchid=106129274

Good idea to do this but the link doesn't work.

Unfortunately I learned from trying this before when you do a search like that and try to then post the link it won't work.

You have to post one for each thread/post.

Has anyone used the hop on hop off bus tours in Valencia, Cadiz, Cartagena, Spain ports. Seem like it would be a good way to go around the city. If you have, is it convienent to the piers?

We have done them in two of three ports and enjoyed them

It provides a nice opportunity to see quite a bit and to pick and choose where you get off.
