UKBayern Posted April 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2013 Booked on a Lufthansa flight on May 3 from FRA to Venice... I know the strike listed is for Monday only, but do these tend to go on for several days/weeks or just a single day? Like everything in Germany, even the strikes are organised :D They announce them in advance and everybody is prepared. Today, according to the media, nobody actually turned up at the airport because Lufthansa contacted everybody in advance and everybody was rebooked on other carriers. It seems Terminal 2 in Munich (LH-terminal) is completely deserted.

Jade13 Posted May 1, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 1, 2013 We made our flight from Munich on April 24! (For some reason our business class seats were not together, but someone offered to switch and gave up her window seat.)

Globaliser Posted May 1, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Lufthansa and the unions have reached an agreement, no more strikesThanks for the update. For clarity, this is a settlement of the current dispute. Next on the LH calendar is a prospective dispute with its pilots. We'll have to see how that one goes.
