yes, there are fridges but I still bring a cooler so I can have lots of ice

Plus the fridge is almost filled to capacity with sodas and snacks for purchase, and it does not get very cold.

As mentioned, refrigerators on cruise ships do not keep things cold.

I always bring my collapsible cooler.

We empty out the fridge but it isn't really that cold so we bring a small collapsible cooler.

No self-service ice in the stateroom areas. The stateroom attendant will keep the stateroom ice bucket filled.

You don't need to pre-tip (bribe) to get what you need...just ask!!
