In the same complex is Maggie Bluffs, a burger/fish and chips/beer sort of place that's actually a very pleasant place to sit outside and look at a couple billion dollars of yachts bobbing at their berths, rather than being enjoyed by their owners, with the city in the background.

OK, I take it back. The Herbfarm is THE most expensive (rated sixth most expensive restaurant in the whole WORLD), at $152.00 per person for dinner, drink and tip. But. then again, it is in Woodinville, not Seattle proper.

So Palisade is close to the top, not the most expensive (Mistral is gone now, so they can't hold the title anymore. El Gaucho, maybe?).

Maggie's is great, but their dining room is so small.....do we really want to tell everyone about it??? :D (but Gardyloo is right, their sweet potato fries are to kill for).

I eat at Palisades often and it isn't even in the top 20 of most expensive in Seattle. It is wonderful, the food is fantastic and the wine list is great.

Take a 2.7 mile drive north to 1900 W Nickerson and have a bite at Chinook. Part of the Anthonys chain, but great food at a reasonable price. Great view of the Fishermens Terminal, and if you're in a car, another mile or so to the northwest and you can visit the Ballard locks.

Based on a suggestion here we ate breakfast at Maggie Bluffs when our son and his family dropped us off for the cruise. The kids (ages 5 & 7) really liked the banana bread french toast. If weather is nice they have a lot of outdoor seating. We got there as they opened but they got busy really fast.

I eat at Palisades often and it isn't even in the top 20 of most expensive in Seattle. It is wonderful, the food is fantastic and the wine list is great.

Just an FYI...you quoted a post over 8 years old. In 2009 it may have been considered more expensive back then.
