Farewell to the Artists of Silversea

A poster on another thread made mention that Silversea's contract with the Artists of Silversea is now over.

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed this group of very talented artists. How can we ever forget Jovani McCleary singing "This nearly was mine" or Kashena's smile. We thank them for the memories and wish them well in their careers.

They were terrific! Jovani singing "This Nearly Was Mine" and many more for our small group in Panorama on the Cloud is a time never to be forgotten! And I kept telling Kashena that I wanted her to marry my son. Oh, well....

Great news that they will still be on the Spirit.

They are true professionals. Jovani, Anastasia, Kashena and two others were tapped to come back from vacation to be on the Cloud during the National WWII Museum' s charter cruise last June. They were not on the schedule to do any performing since the Museum had a full schedule of lectures during the day and evenings They were just there to fill out the crew, be on board for the subsequent cruise, and I suppose handle emergency operations if needed. Nevertheless, Jovani et. al convinced the cruise director to let them put on a cabaret one evening before dinner, and we were treated to a wonderful show in the Panorama Lounge.

Just embarked the Cloud today in Istanbul. They are on board but yes, it is their last voyage... 4 of the 6 were on board with us in August (London to Reykjavik) and it was nice to see them again. No show tonight but tomorrow is Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Please pass along our best wishes for future success and tell them how much we have appreciated their shows over the years.

Thanks.
