Favorite can't-miss food/drink on each cruise line?

I see threads about favorite foods on a specific line, but what about listing your faves on each cruiseline, for example, mine are:

Carnival: the pizza (thin-crust!) and the hot chocolate machines. (The Warm Chocolate Melting cake goes without saying!)

RCCL: Oasis-class - the roast beef sandwich at the Central Park Café.

Any more?

I love it but limit myself to a child-size serving maybe twice on a 10 day cruise. Their fresh made guacamole is delicious, too.

Royal Caribbean has the best salad croutons - crisp without being hard. Since I eat a lot of salads, I really enjoy those croutons.

The pizza on Princess.

I did not like the fettucine at all. I got a gummy mess with powdery split sauce and a parmesan basket that was hard like plastic.

The roast beef sandwich/kummelweck(?) was pretty darn good on Oasis. I also liked their salad in the same cafe. Not worth it to wait in line for the tutti salad in the MDR; the items are basically the same just more different kinds of the same. Like three types of tomatoes, different cheeses, but you could get the same upstairs.

Steak sandwich from room service on Oasis.

Congee on Princess. They change it each day but the ginger one was so good. Congee on Celebrity was terrible. Always on the verge of room temp. Yuck.

Well for me who cruises on Carnival, the food right now is in a state of transition, especially in the dining room and room service. But I must say that I do love the smoked salmon and bagel from the deli. But since you mentioned drink:D I do love the "twilight zone".

I had two of those fairly close together last November, and literally found myself IN the "twilight" zone:D

HAL's Pinnacle Grill used to have a Steak Diane that was absolutely to die for, IMO, but it's no longer on the menu, sigh. They also had an absolutely fantastic Thai chicken soup.....had it for appetizer one night and when they asked me what I wanted for dessert, I said "another cup of that wonderful soup!" It was fantastic. No longer on the menu, or else it's just a different recipe. Then they had steak, chicken or seafood skewers, flamed tableside, that were wonderful, no longer on the menu, sigh.

We've only been on one RCI cruise, but loved the frozen yogurt machine out by the pool, LOL! Their seafood platter night (with lobster) in the MDR was pretty fantastic.

We've also only been on one NCL cruise, but their dessert crepes in the buffet at night were delicious! Mmmmmm, fresh-made crepe with cherry pie filling, drizzled with chocolate and a plop of fresh whipped cream? Yes, please, YUM!

Best wishes!

True. I figured it's pretty popular when I posted a pic of it on instagram, hash tagged it and tons of similar photos came up. Plus, it's just SO good!

Our blog is dedicated to travel and food, my favorite things. I just found this part of cruisecritic today... I am kind of wishing I hadn't as it's too early for lunch :(

My favourite food on RCCI is the Creme brulee in the Dinning room. I was also pretty impressed with the Room Service Tortilla dip, which I only ordered as someone on here had recommended it.

Some standouts in my mind:

Princess: Goat cheese souffle appetizer (main dining room) was awesome. The chef's table is also totally worth the ~$90 if you can get in on it. The fish and chips they serve 1-2 times per cruise for lunch at the wheelhouse bar are also great.

Holland America: Caesar salad from Pinnacle Grill was very good. The $10 lunch there is also a good value too. The Rijsttafel (main dining room) is also fun to try. I also like that they have hot breakfast room service for all cabins (Princess doesn't do that).

Crystal: Black cod at Silk Road (aka Nobu) - best fish I've ever had. Incidentally, their Italian restaurant served up some of the smallest and driest lamb chops I've ever had.

NCL and RCCL: Mediocre food, IMHO.
