Car Rental in Southampton

Is there a car rental site close to the Mayflower cruise dock? I can only find info on renting cars through Southampton Airport. I'm hoping I don't have to take a cab to the airport just to rent a car

Hertz, Europcar & National are behind City terminal, in a cul-de-sac off West Quay Road - the cul-de-sac is also called West Quay Road. SixT depot not far away.

From Mayflower terminal they're a three minute taxi hop (walkable if you don't get lost, but no fun with luggage)

Do check the days / times that the depots are open, esp for a sunday collection or return.

Avis don't have a depot in town, only out at the airport.

Note that unless you ask for an automatic (at extra cost) you will get a stick shift.

I've booked with Hertz in West Quay and got an excellent deal by booking online

Thrifty also in town but not at airport. I have booked Hertz for next year.:)
