Wonderful video - well perhaps it would have been better without that singer but hey, its raw and its real! I got goosebumps when the QE2 blew its whistle and I just wished I was there for the real send off.

 

I am hoping Cunard does somthing special like this for the "final" voyages planned in 2008 of which one I do expect to participate.

Sounded better than it would have if I had been singing (which I wouldn't have been - I don't actually know many of the words:o )

I missed much of that.

 

Convinced that QE2 never leaves Southampton on time, I was busy with my laundry after several days in a London hotel, while downing that lovely bottle of something-or-other with friends.

 

Somehow lost track of the time and finally made it up on deck just as we were departing.
