Some of us change our time this weekend

But we're all changing our eating habits..the women and men

 

Spring will be here in a week or two..whatever the weather will be

Time to get in shape or better shape for now.. you and me

 

So many taking trips and cruises this year

We always want to lose weight as the vacations near

 

But as we know it takes hard work every day

We just keep trying till we find what works our way

 

Coming here each week helps keeps us accountable we know

Can always weigh here doesn't matter if hot, rain or snow

 

So hope everyone has a good weigh-in and does a happy dance

If didn't do as good as you wanted..you know each day is a new chance

 

Never "Give Up" is our motto in here

I hope everyone had a good week with their eating plans.

 

I'm down 2 pounds from last Thursday to 213, 13 overall since Feb. 9. If I continue to lose 2 pounds a week I could get to 200 by the date of my cruise, May 1, which is my immediate goal.

 

My ultimate goal is 185, but that well take a while.

Great loss Cruiserman! I lost my 1 pound that I gained on our cruise last week so I'm happy with that and getting back into routine. I'm off with my kiddos for spring break, so struggling not to snack with them all day. Stay strong and have a great weekend everyone! Can't wait to see more island pics from shootr.

Belle ~ nice ditty with thoughts of Spring!

 

Nice going to the 2 of you.:D

 

Just as I thought, the scale must have been wrong last week as today I'm up 2 lbs.

 

DH hardly ever weighs himself but did today since his belt is a little snug, to find out he's at his highest weight ever, 190 lbs. That's not a bad weight for him I think, since he is 6'1"

He's cutting back starting with no cheese on his sandwich & no cookies for a snack.

 

Hope I'm the only bad one reporting in today.;)

Jo, sorry you gained. Bummer.

 

I stayed the same, which I'm ok with. If I can maintain this weight until vacation I'm good.

 

Our Spring in No. CA where I live is very wet. Which is good, we need it, but too much at one time.

Diana, staying the same is a lot better than a gain.

 

Jo, sorry about the gain. Hopefully, next week you will see a loss.

I am down .6 lbs. Not much, but its a loss so I'll take it.

No you're not, I'm up 2 lbs even though I've been exercising and dieting. :confused:

Hi again everyone!

 

I lost 1.1 kilos this week for a total of 8.5 kilos. A little over 18 pounds total I think??

 

Shootr, loving all the Hawaii pics, great job on keeping up with exercise.

 

I can't remember everyone's name, but to those who gained, don't worry about it! It's probably just water/bloating.

 

I'm really struggling with exercise, I hate it. Lol

You sure got lots of exercise.

 

Violet..I'm with you, I don't like exercise either.

Your doing something right, you lost again. Good

job!

 

Cruises42..You exercise and dieted so bet it's just

water weight and will come off soon. Our body's

weight always seem to go up for no reason.

 

Rose..You had a loss that's the main thing. The little

loss's add up to a big loss.

 

Diana..Never gaining is a good thing. Your vacation will

be here before you know it. Bet you'll lose another pound.

 

Jo..Sorry about the scale being off last week so maybe

this week you really stayed the same. Will be a help to you

some that husband wants to lower his carbs.

 

Fam..Hope your doing well with kids off from school, snacking

is my downfall. Nice you got the cruise pound off.

 

Cruiserman..Another good loss for you. Know you'll get off

more pounds off for your cruise in May.

"I'm tellin' ya', it's the darned processed sugar!!!"

 

So even though I was having a fantastic time last week, and really never stopped moving - by the end was feeling pretty run down.

 

I binged on crap like Snickers bars (had to have one with my cigar - it's tradition), shaved ice (with the syrup and ice cream) - don't get me wrong, it was very enjoyable - at the moment.

 

But now that I've had a few days to "detox" and get back to my salads, unprocessed proteins, fiber supplements, etc - I feel 10 times better and my energy is way up. Yeah, I am riding the bike again and gardening and stuff, but I was active all last week too.

 

I am now of the utmost belief that the more sugar I can keep out of my daily intake, the better off I will be day-to-day.

 

If you haven't seen it, a movie called "Fed Up" was what finally made my brain "click" and take heed of the effects of it. Should still be on Netflix and maybe some of the other streaming services. If you are looking for a kick in the pants - this might work for you too.
