They are departing from San Juan.

This information may be of help:

The Sheraton Old San Juan is the closest to the port.

The Caribe Hilton offers a day pass where you get a day room and can use the whole resort for a day:

Alternatively book a room and check in - even if it is just for 5-6 hours. There are hotels near the airport that are cheaper and would work for this just fine.

We'll be going on the Summit on Nov. 22, 2014. We'll be landing at 6:30 AM and don't know where we can go to wait until we can board the ship. Does anyone know of a hotel near the ship that would allow us to have breakfast and wait until we can board?

Thanks:)

The Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino offers a phenomenal fresh breakfast buffet, at Chicago Burger Company, and after you try the chef's delights you can motivate (even walk) to the pier and fill up on lunch! :D

Otherwise Cafe Los Yeyos When in San Juan, do as the San Juaneros do and stop into this little cafe in a working class neighborhood in the Old City. Don't let the sparsely decorated place fool you, the food is in the spotlight of those bare bulbs. Breakfast is a bargain with eggs, potatoes and ham, but you can stop in for authentic cuisine for lunch and dinner, too. The pork and seafood dishes taste like abuela cooked them on a Sunday afternoon. (787-725-9362)

Enjoy the most important meal of the day and have a great cruise!

Summitt and other Celebrity ships do not use the pier in Old San Juan. They use the Pan American Pier, which you cannot walk to from Old San Juan. If you are landing at 6:30, by the time you gather your luggage it will be 7:00. If it were me, I'd just find a restaurant in the airport for breakfast and kill time for an hour or two, then take a cab to the pier. They will start boarding around 11:00, and you can start your cruise! OR you could contact the Sheraton Casino in Old San Juan and see if they will watch your luggage if you eat there, and then walk around Old San Juan until closer to boarding time. There is so much to see and do there including the two forts, a beautiful old cathedral, cobblestone streets, and more!
