How much noise should I expect

Considering a cruise on the Nautica in a PH3 and looking at one of the rear suites, probably 8065. My question is, on this ship, or its sister, how much noise should I expect from the Terrace Restaurant right above me. Dinner is not much of an issue, but would hate a lot of extra noise as soon as breakfast starts. Are all of the PH suites under the Terrace subject to much noise?

Actually, it is the two Owners Suites on Deck 8, and the two A1 cabins tucked between them which get the brunt of the morning noise, because of their position under the outdoor terrace of the Terrace Restaurant (wooden chairs versus wooden deck, you know). The staff have standing instructions to keep the cleaning quiet, but passengers will occasionally get ambitious about combining tables and such.

The tables inside the Terrace Restaurant sit on carpeted floors, with the "work areas" confined to the center of the ship (think across the hall from your penthouse).

These photos are of the Insignia, but the layout is the same for any R ship.

Good Morning! We have been in aft PH3s before (and will be again in March-April), and have never had any issue(s) with noise from above. Full disclosure: We are early risers.

So tell me, how do you combine round tables? Can't believe that would ever happen. Any other bright ideas?:confused::confused:

I will take your word for it, but I have never seen it on 8 cruises that we have been on. By the way, great pictures. I am hungry already.

Many round tables such as the ones shown with the table clothes are actually square with rounded wings. The wings can be folded under and made into a square or rectangular table. These can then be put together for a larger rectangular table.

There are square tables as well as the circular ones shown in the photos….
