Have not been to these ports but will be in Pisa and Kotor in 2016.

In Livorno, we have already arranged a private tour with Romeinlimo to visit Pisa and then head to Florence for the day. Highly recommend this company as we utilized their services in

2013 in Rome and Naples. They are a first class company that DELIVERS!

You will see many, many posts on the Italy board as well as Tripadvisor. Their tours are far superior to any excursion the cruise line can offer and you will see and do more with a small group vs a large bus offered but the ship. It will also cost less. No brained in my book.

For Kotor, we will DIY and walk the ancient walls.

Sorry, can't advise about the other ports, but I suggest you post questions and I can guarantee that other posters will respond. I gained so much knowledge thanks to the seasoned travelers here that our previous Med cruise went off with even one hiccup!

In the meantime, check Tripadvisor, YouTube and get a copy of Rick Steve's Guide to Med Cruise Ports.

You should also join your roll call to possibly share tours and glean info from your fellow passengers.

Would love to know the ship and date so I can offer some other tidbits. Time for me to pay back for all the wonderful tips I was given. I know it can be overwhelming if you haven't sailed the Med, so let others guide you.

I promise you, it's absolutely incredible!

Ticker in signature says Oceana 24 June 2015. Perhaps you have signatures turned off?

Yep, Kotor can be done on your feet (from the ship) as long as your are content to stay in the town (which has lots of charm). As to Pisa, you would need to take a taxi from the ship to the Livorno Centrale train station where you can catch the train to Pisa (it is a short train ride). As to Corfu this will depend on whether you just want to stay in Corfu Town or see more of the island (which we recommend). This is a place we sometimes rent a car which then lets us go where we please on the island on our own schedule. As has been said, there is info on all these ports on the Ports of Call boards.

If you post the date and ship, we can guide you to your roll call where others who will be cruising with you will most likely be discussing things to do in the ports you will be visiting. That way you can read all about it and ask questions.

Another place to look is Trip Advisor.

We did a private excursion to Pisa and Florence. I believe we used Bob's Limo or RomeInLimo. The driver was waiting when we got off the ship that morning with our name on a sign. There were five of us. We zipped off to Pisa first. We weren't interested in climbing the steps but took a bit of time to tour, get photos and then we were off to Florence. Have some Euros. You have to pay to use the restroom in Pisa and in Florence. They made the reservation for us to see the David so we knew they would have us there on time, and the museum was fabulous. My daughter had been waiting for years to see this and was thrilled. We took a bit of a tour of Florence by car and some time to walk around in the different areas, have a bit of lunch, do a bit of shopping and finally to get a few pastries before heading back to the ship. A small group of tourists tried to push us aside for our reserved time to enter the museum in Florence, we were willing to let them ahead of us, but our guide immediately stepped up, knew the people allowing entry and we were escorted into the museum. We would have never been able to see half of what did without using a private guide and driver. When he gave us some time to shop or explore on foot, he told us exactly where he would be and how to get there to meet him. He was always waiting on us. I can't imagine doing it any other way.
