  1. If you want early dining times it can be an issue. We almost never eat prior to 7;30 and have never had an issue booking on board
  2. Not at all I have been cruising since 1990 and I have had use of Internet cafes not too long after that. I fail to see why we should avoid technology that is available to us. Locking a cell phone in a safe makes no sense at all. My question is why do you even have one ?
  3. It is for on board use not part of the app
  4. My question is why would you use a cell phone on lsmd and lock it up once you board. Why not leave it at home you don’t need it to get on board
  5. On a long wet cruise it is a relief to get away from shipboard food and get something different. I cannot imagine eating every day in the same restaurant for weeks on end
  6. On your stateroom phone there is button labeled dining inquiries
  7. If medallions were not ordered they must be picked up on the day of sailing by each individual who must also have their passports with them. In a some cruises you can substitute ID and original birth certificate for passports
  8. It is a number you can call for specialty dinner reservations
  9. When was the last time you saw a lido deck grill scraped down while cooking beef, chicken and I guess now plant based “meat”. They cook all day of that same surface nothing comes out very hot and for someone who hasn’t eaten chicken in years my hamburger did not even taste like beef Some of the best food I have ever eaten has been on cruises off the ship. Not usually in the port area itself but with a little research you can get some remarkable meals. you could not pay me to eat in any buffet on ship or on land
  10. It immediately told me it was not an option for reserve dining suites
  11. I Heck I was having shipboard romances in my 40”s
  12. When I have hit MDR it tells me that it is not an option for Reserve dining
  13. Reserve dining cannot be overridden to MDR as far as I know. Anyone can book specialty dining regardless of MDR status except for full suites where embarkation night is guaranteed and booked once you board through the dine line or concierge where available
  14. If you take an upgrade you may end up with cabins not near each other. If that happens and you kids are young (you don’t mention ages) they may refuse to allow you make changes. If I was in a cabin next to a cabin occupied by a couple of 12 year olds I would be making inquiries at guest services
  15. We love sea days. Just did 16 day Hawaii cruise with 11 sea days
