  1. Whatever it means they seem a friendly sort of folk.😳
  2. Just showing up with my passport has been enough so far. Any early checkin, whatever it is called, has not seemed to make a difference. Always well done and quick in our experience.
  3. 3 Viking WCs and no required vax. Too old for YF. So far so good.😎
  4. Haha, I had you pegged for that. In the waters off the FL panhandle they are grayish dorsal area fading through beiges to silverish to near white below. In more tropical areas they look like something Disney decorated. Really good eatin but a pain to skin.
  5. A Gulf of Mexico fave (at least for us) is Trigger fish. Want to guess the color??
  6. Private is the two of us with guides/drivers. ANYTHING else is a small group tour....🥃
  7. Have to agree, some things are just stuck in my head as what they are worth. Has any of yall stayed at Nobu hotel in South Beach? Our TA highly recommended it and the restaurant is supposed to be something special. Guess we will find out.🥃
  8. Everyone seems to rave about Starlink on ships. In my experience, the best wifi so far on any ship was on the Viking 2018 world cruise. Fast and reliable. Also had live tv almost all the time. On the recent Viking WC with Starlink on the ship, we often had no live tv and internet was slow and often interrupted. So, as for me, I just dont get all the hoopla. 🍹
  9. If not, I will.🍺🍺🍺🍺
  10. The southern track that SeaDream will be taking is, as Zimmy says, generally pleasant. I have sailed it on ships other than SD when I worked on such things and all I would add is that it is hurricane season so anticipate a few bumps. If you don't get any all the better. Don't worry about any bad stuff as any Captain worth his table knows how to track such storms and which side of the storm to avoid. Wish we were going.🥃
  11. I guess you will just have to deal with it and figure out a solution. Never happened to us so we don't spend time worrying about it.
  12. Pick up from your home, magically appear in your cabin. Going home, put out in hallway the night before disembarkation and they get delivered to your home.
  13. Yes, by this time of year it gets a bit tiring. But I was raised in the southeast US where it gets hot and humid. A long time saying from there is "if you are gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough". And believe it or not, my Mother was English and I spent lots of time in the UK.
