It is quite bright and a pleasant 10° but it is forecast for light showers later. The good thing is that the washing has dried outside today🙂 -

I was just reading our MP's monthly newsletter and was amazed to see that we now have a bus service from our area. I may give it a try the next time I need to go into the city centre rather than take the car. I can no longer winge that I have a bus pass but no bus. 🤣 -

A cool bright, sunny morning here. Not a lot planned other than the school run and then out to look for some clothes in preparation for our next cruise now that it is creeping up on us. My S-i-L has just text to ask when DH and I are free to meet up with her and her son. So 2 nice things to look forward to. -

We stocked up last week at our favourite wine merchants., as you say not as cheap as Tesco etc but well worth a visit as the supermarkets don't stock my favourite wine. -

I have been to Tesco this morning too and when I saw the wine offer I bought 6 bottles red to top up our wine rack. Too good an offer to miss 🍷🍷 -

It would be a nice to meet up. My sister and her husband are checking how it fits in with their work schedules so they may be going too. I have already decided to give my bowling match a miss if no one else has already booked the evening off. -

Good to know that P&O are sticking pretty much to the scheduled boarding times. Have a great cruise. -

I have just had a long online chat with a young man at Direct Line car insurance. When we picked the car up on Friday they gave us 4 days insurance to give us time to change our insurance over. I have been trying since yesterday to change the insurance on line but it kept insisting that the car model only had an automatic trasmission but it is manual. The young man was able to override the system after he checked that Mazda do still produce a manual version of the car. He did say that this happened more frequently since more people are buying automatics. -

I found it strange that after my mum went blind she was entitled to 50% reduction on the tv licence even though my dad was still living on the same house so I thought that he should pay for a full licence. I also couldn't understand why a blind person would want to get a TV licence but as mum told me she still liked to listen to her favourite programs. -

A cold but dry morning here at the moment but I am expecting it to rain from 2:00 to 5:30 to coincide with our bowling match because we have had it cold and wet for most of the games that we have already played this season. My waterproofs are definitely getting plentry of use. . 🌧️🌧️ -
I can't say that I have ever noticed anyone excessively filming but that could be that I rarely take any notice of what others are doing but if I had children with me I would be very upset to see some one filming the children. No one knows where they are posting their films on the internet, it could be on a site used by pedophiles.

We went to pick up the new car this morning, a Mazda, the 4th one that we have owned, though anything would be better than the Yaris which was a self charging hybrid which I didn't really trust especially after it cut out and lit up every light inside and out and told me to go to a dealership. DH sorted the problem out himself with the aid of Mr Google when the dealership said that they couldn't look at it for 3 days. I don't know whether we were just unlucky but I didn't trust it enough to go anywhere that wasn't within a couple of miles from home in case I got stranded and had to wait for the AA to come out.
