  1. Yes, it does! It sure does change, but pre-load the information, including your photo, and then ask to update whatever needs updating...should it need updating. It would take grade school programming skills to make that happen...
  2. @complawyer I agree it's a minor gripe. That's why I called it to begin with. It's nonetheless lame on their part. @9tee2Sea Sorry, but entering that stuff again is a waste of time. They already have our credit card and passport information in their databases....ready to be hacked by anyone smart enough with enough time to do so. Entering it again is perplexing. It's not about data security.
  3. No, it's not the end of the world, but c'mon NCL: I've sailed on you over 15 times, 3 times in the past year. Stop asking all the same questions at check-in about whether I sailed with you in the past, what my passport number is, how you need me to upload my photo, etc. I've pivoted to Princess of late; and they don't ask you any of that stuff after your first cruise. It's quick and easy...in fact, all of their tech is way more advanced than you. Do better NCL.
  4. From personal experience: Hated "Rock Opera" - it was like a campy spoof of a European Song Contest singing tired old songs in gaudy costumes. From hearing others after the show and wished I saw it: Spotlight Bar - people said it was lively and the cast was very talented
  5. The OP pretty much asked a Yes or no question. I can't help on the question of whether bartenders get a flat gratuities share of the Plus package, and to me, it's moot. Everyone should tip or not tip based on their own views and conscience, but I tip bartenders continually through a cruise. I can visibly see I get better service; but even more importantly, I know this is their long hours working livelihood, not their hobby.
  6. I'm seconding this comment. I was blue lane a few weeks ago after being green lane in the past. The difference was almost imperceptible with regard to waiting times.
  7. @PartyPlannerLady The question is about Manhattan Cruise Terminal (MCT). For some, there's a need to get limited dates/times booked in-person for dining and/or to acquire limited slots in, say, the Vibe. Hence, the desire to get on as early as possible. Me? I like getting on the ship early, even if we are waiting on a cabin, b/c I'm maximizing my vacation experience, and yeah, my drink package too.
  8. Stay put. You may end up 4 decks and half the ship's length apart should you get an upgrade(s).
  9. Awesome. I'll come over and say hello!
  10. Hope to see both @UKstages and @vacation44 in the Vibe in about a month on 6/2! (Not sure how we'd know who is who, but that's fine too).
  11. @vacation44 you may recall that over on our June 2 roll call thread I was talking about my friends who couldn't score regular Vibe passes b/c they were sold out....well about a month ago they called the regular NCL customer service and were able to get into the Vibe via the cabana route. So, I'm not clear what's going on. Maybe the cabanas are sold out for our sailing?
  12. Regarding shade, the Vibe encompasses the full width of the ship, so you can follow the shade to your liking. Regarding "quiet place to relax", um, yes, the Vibe can be a library sometimes 😝, but during peak hours, it can get boisterous at and around the bar and hot tubs (thankfully). That said, you could likely find solace in some other corner of the Vibe. Also, the Waterfront has tons of (free) comfortable seating in shaded areas than could become your home base for reading and chatting.
  13. Are all the cabanas on the new, top level of the Joy Vibe?
  14. That was the exact reaction of me and my wife when we were on the Enchanted in March.
  15. No problem making a 10:15am FLL flight...unless perhaps you are mobility challenged. I've self-assist luggage walked off a Princess ship and arrived at the airport in time for a 9am flight.
