They don't apply it consistently. I think it depends who in Miami picks up the OBC submission. I've booked with no supplement and 150% supplement. Sometimes they reduce the obc, other times I get the full amount. I did a B2B last year. Both cruises no supplement. First cruise got full benefit. Second cruise got half the benefit. The policy makes no sense to me. If I buy the required number of shares, I am entitled to the full benefit. NCL always wants to give passenger 1 $50 and passenger 2 $50. But my passenger 2 (when I travel with someone) doesn't own NCL stock and is not entitled to any benefit. The actual shareholder should get the full credit if they meet the ownership requirements. Whether they are traveling solo or not has no bearing on the issue. The intent of the program is to reward stock ownership.

What do you do, if anything when they give half of it to pax2?

Wow just Wow to the responses I have received.  I will never ever ever post on CC ever again.  WOW.

What were you expecting? If the entertainment was that important, you might of researched it before booking?

Some people enjoy the shows so much that they might watch the same exact show more than once on the same cruise! Personally I think it is great opportunity to take advantage of other offerings the ship has, for example there are shows in The Supper Club and Comedians that will more than likely different from your last cruise.

A balcony room is not going to be that much bigger than the inside, other than it having the balcony of course.  And, do you want to worry about four teens and a balcony, lol.  Besides the odds of being able to score a balcony cabin this close to sailing are not so good.  They are going to have such a great time, they won't care about the cramped space.

I disagree, balcony is much larger than an inside. They have a whole area for the couch that an inside room does not have, plus the outside balcony too.

However, I feel like the teens should be able to make it work and not spend that much time in the cabin anyway. There are many parts of the ship for them to hangout.

  4. What are you looking for? Some shows have a fee and some don't. The meals change around, but seems like everyone is served the same thing for a particular show barring allergies or something. The acts also change around too, we saw The Knights (UK male singing group) that was complementary and good.

The cruise line is refunding fare, plus giving $300PP for airline changes. What else do you want the travel insurance to cover?

For travelers who have already departed, their flights if they can even be changed would probably be in excess of $300?

Or they have to spend money on last minute accommodations in a foreign country they hadn't planned spending?

Anyway, I was asking as I didn't know, but this seems to be a more unusual case of a vacation being cancelled/interrupted.

  6. Looks like I just need to email a recent statement to ShareholderBenefit@ncl.com showing my ownership of at least 100 shares, do I need to block out any information? Carnival use to make me block out account numbers, which I thought was odd...

Can the OBC be used for anything? Like if bought CruiseNext certificates, would it apply towards those?
It cannot be applied towards the DSC correct?

Anything else I should know? Thanks

Saw AFTER MIDNIGHT last night.....good band, good singing, good dancing.  But, probably because the songs and dancing were from an era way before my time, I wasn’t a fan.  Maybe better for the HAL or Celebrity target?

That is a good way to describe it! I didn't care for it myself either, but the performers were on spot.

Ability to Use two instead of one seems to be the norm for at least a cpl of years now. Don't remember it being rescinded. I think they have end dates for commercial purposes but reinstate it consistently ( On balcony or above)

You can always use two for the balcony or above, six months out. The double up for ANY is limited time.

How can you take this review seriously when the OP says that the Horseshoe Bay was underwelding and the sand not so pink.  Lol

Yea, sounds like they drove by it and were expecting to see some hot neon pinkness.

My dad even conceded it was impressive after visiting and we only went a little bit of the way over to the coves on the left (we have beaches somewhat locally and was he in the mindset of they connect to the same ocean, what is so special?).

I do agree with the OP about the running track being along side some smoking areas. Hard to hold your breath even while just walking past those.

I went on the same cruise a few months ago and had a pleasant time, looking forward to snagging a deal to go again in the fall. I do hope that "comedy magician" is off the ship by then. He was the worst entertainer by far. After Midnight wasn't really my thing, but it was a well done production. I don't know why OP said it was poor.
