  1. We are on the same cruise. Our flight has been changed from an afternoon flight. We now fly out of Tampa at 11.30 am to Boston then 3.40 wait in Boston for our onward flight to Dublin. We plan to self walk off.
  2. Gorgeous photos of Dubrovnik brought back a lot of memories. We spend 6 weeks in Croatia 20 years ago island hopping. The seafood was amazing and so inexpensive we used to enjoy dinner every evening for under 20 Euro with wine. We finished our trip with a week in Dubrovnik in a lovely apartment facing the Cathedral. I know from friends that Croatia has now got very expensive to holiday there.
  3. Great review…..love your style of just getting stuck in and enjoying every moment. Your photos around Rome are beautiful they bring back lots of happy memories. We had our honeymoon in Australia 50 years ago and stayed three years…..long story. Have a fantastic cruise, looking forward to following along.
  4. No decent or special seafood on our B2B on the Millennium in May. Very disappointed. We did enjoy Crab in Tracey’s Shack Juneau and Halibut sandwiches in a Skagway.
  5. Maybe on mature reflection you should have made a real fuss about having to leave your suite…..it must have been horrendous for you being escorted down to deck 3 and left in isolation particularly when you were not that ill. Cruel come to mind. Celebrity needs to rethink its policy and lack of consistency……
  6. My husband use's a wire brush but he tells me he always cleans down the grill with kitchen roll after doing this. We will have to rethink this.
  7. Sounds like you are struggling….keep strong you did the right thing reporting but sorry Celebrity did not leave you in your original room can’t understand that as who else could have used that room in the middle of a cruise. Hope this does not put you off cruising in the future. Wishing you all the best for the future.
  8. The test is supervised……you get a proper print out saying you are COVID free. We had to wait 20 minutes for results. My only advise to have a hard copy of everything printed out. We boarded in May with absolutely no problems. Safe travels and have a wonderful cruise.
  9. We got an Antigen test 48 hours before boarding. We were able to get it at our local chemist 30 Euro each. I believe Boots also do this test. This test is totally acceptable to get on board.
  10. Did not mean to offend but I had to react….I was in the food business for many years and I would have found this absolutely unacceptable to deliver to any one especially with all the other beautiful produce that are available onboard.
  11. We had our 2nd booster 18 days before our B2B cruise. Ship was only 50% occupied and I would say we were reasonably cautious onboard. We tested positive on the day we arrived home our symptoms….. a slight cough no temperature, in fact jet lag was our main problem. Vaccine and boosters work in stopping one getting seriously ill provided one has no serious underlying medical issues. We look forward to receiving our flu jab and hopefully another booster in September. We are adults if we choose to cruise or any other type of socialising we have to be aware that we run the risk of COVID and other viruses. Wishing you and all your family a speedy recovery and I hope you and Celebrity can come to some sort of agreement.
  12. That looks absolutely disgusting……..IMHO🤮🤮
  13. Is Blu better on certain ships…..a few years ago we were Aqua on a cruise in Australia think it was the Millennium. The food in Blu was awful. A few days into the cruise we found out from people who were on the cruise before us that the chef for Blu got off in Sydney and had been replaced by another chef. Anyway that cruise we mostly ordered from the MDR menu. We are booked in Aqua in October on the Constellation so hopefully all will be well. As mentioned the tables are very close but after greetings you can choose not to engage without been rude.
  14. It’s always in Tuscan Grill. Good for meeting other Elite and above. The variety of food is limited but we have always enjoyed the atmosphere and cappuccino’s.
  15. No COVID test in between cruise. We did not have to get off ship to check in again just met in OV and got our new SeaPass. Wonderful cruise but unfortunately did test positive for Covid when we got home. We were fortunate to have had our 2nd booster so just had a slight cough for 3 days…..in fact the jet lag was worse from our flight from Vancouver back to Ireland.
  16. Yes, I believe there are two trains. Forgot to add to above post…..the weather was amazing and the Captain got us right up to the Hubbard glacier👌👌
  17. We were b2b Vancouver to Seward and Seward to Vancouver in May. Fantastic cruise only 50% on board for both cruises. We left from Seward late…..because the last train arriving from Anchorage does not get in to Seaward until 5.30. We saw folks boarding from mid day when we were getting off to explore Seward. The crew onboard were amazingly helpful and friendly. The scenery, wildlife and gold rush history combined to make this cruise a most memorable one.
  18. Delighted Celebrity took care of you and friends….you obviously enjoyed upgrade as we did in May in Alaska. Glad your friends are doing well. Looking forward to Blu in October. Life is short enjoy be grateful as you are…..lots of folk could take a leave out of your book.
  19. Thank you…..good to know. Hopefully the same chef will be in charge in October.
  20. Anyone know what Blu is like on the Constellation.
  21. We enjoyed CC drinks from 5 to 7 on our last cruise May 2022 in the Sky Lounge on the Millennium…..we had a group of friends on board all Elite and above. We were the only group in the Lounge. When we cruise alone we usually have drinks in the Martini Bar. Do wish Celebrity would just load drinks on SeaPass that can be enjoyed over the day.
