  1. This product has not received FDA approval. I notice that it is not sold at any national or regional pharmacy or grocery store in our area. Only the natural food store sells it.
  2. OK...I'm a librarian...my brain went to movies...
  3. It very much reminds me of the theming that Vegas hotels did in the 90s. Fun to do once but never drew me back (well, unless they tossed me comps...then MAYBE) We did Venetian in 2020 & I fell in love. Unfortunately those generous COVID comps have dried up. So back to Ballys. We aren't in our room anyway. But a ship is a bit different. It isn't just the room. It's the whole ship. But on our 17 cruises among 5 lines not one ship made a difference. Always had a good time (tho I will say I do believe a CD who was rotten at activity scheduling made it my least fav cruise)
  4. You have me curious...is there more I need to know? PS I'm not easily offended...
  5. Wait--what? Topless deck? Or are you just referring to the statues?😉
  6. I was giggling... Alice in Wonderland to Phantom of the Opera to Frankenstein to Bacchus Kinda all over the place!
  7. OOOH boy sorry for all the questions! We purchased the drink package before the prices went up. Using OBC it ran us about $100/day for both of us so we know at worst that is a break even, tho more than likely a good deal! On Celebrity I upgraded to their premium drink package as I have wine preferences. I was able to upgrade & DH did not need to. Does Carnival have an upgraded option? If so, can just one person upgrade? Either way, does anyone know what the sauvignon blanc wine offerings are? (or pinot grigio) Hey, I love me a $3 bottle of Aldi pinot grigio. But sauvignon blanc needs to be from NZ or Australia (followed closely by Europe). Not a big fan of California or S. America. Curious if I will find that. It appears the drink price limit is $20, which would seem to include about everything...
  8. 17 cruises under our belt but never Carnival. We have Carnival Miracle booked for January. I am watching a video & still feel that ships are more alike than different. It does seem there is very strong theming on this ship (with hilariously no rhyme or reason to it). I'm interested as I have not seen such theming on any other ship, even DCL. It doesn't affect our trip--in Vegas we have stayed at nearly every resort on the Strip & always have a blast so clearly theming doesn't bother me. Just curious if this a ship thing or a Carnival thing.
  9. Well have yet to have great internet on any ship. Mostly use it to keep up on email, check news, social media a bit.
  10. On RCCl we were able to share one plan among all of the family, we just had to log on each time (so only 1 device at a time was on). Will we be able to do that on Carnival?
  11. I am signed up for this in August. So this includes chair, umbrella, lunch & drinks? Unlimited drinks? Any non-alcoholic offerings? Thanks!
  12. I booked a cruise that DH won on a poker cruise in 2019 that is finally sailing this December. Unfortunately I didn't look closely at the invoice when I booked at the end of Feb. (My mother had passed just 2 weeks prior & was in process of moving Dad to assisted living) There was NO indication of this during our phone call & I would have declined had it been mentioned as I have travel insurance by using my Chase Sapphire Reserve. Final payment is not due until August. Can I call & get the travel insurance removed?
  13. I HAVE CLARIFICATION (perhaps I was the only one confused...) Must verify by May 30. Can begin booking May 31. Well hopefully everything I want to book is available... Funny I swear I read here (or maybe a social media site...) that someone had called & got a 25% reduction on their current booking. Must have been a newbie--cuz it says new bookings only & starts May 31.
  14. So if I understand this correctly--I cannot book until I get the email. (I have been verified) I did Live Chat today for a couple other things. I asked about it & she said it should be in my account. But the price is the same as it was for our aunt & uncle booked on the same cruise. SO--is this one of those cruises the discount doesn't work for? OR do i need to wait for the email??!!
  15. Loving your report...We sailed the Getaway in 2019 & loved it! So taking our YA kids on the Breakaway in the Med in 2023. Thanks for sharing!!
  16. Hmmmm....I was verified Tuesday. Said the email would come within 2 weeks. But it has to be booked by May 30th.🤔
  17. We LOVED LOVED LOVED Waterfront on the NCL Getaway & said we wished EVERY ship had this! We spent most evenings out there. We prefer to be outside & we like to be social. Unfortunately top deck bars are very windy at night, but the Waterfront bars weren't. We were even able to be out there when it rained. Plus the music from Syd Pour's was piped outside,
  18. I have on Celebrity as it gets me Sauvignon Blanc from NZ that I prefer. But it is less than $100 for a 7 day cruise. We were content with the regular beverage plan on NCL in 2019. $250 more on NCL--is it worth it?
  19. I was sent an email to make MoveUp bids, I must have accidentally deleted it. I don't see anything on the reservation to prompt me to it. How can I still do this?
  20. LOL I PREFER to do my laundry in the sink--much quicker than dealing with the laundry room! I hang things in the shower, closet or on the balcony (usually laying over a chair with my towel clips. I have a capsule wardrobe of quick dry, non-wrinkle material so this is very practical. Generally black shorts/pants/dresses with a variety of tops. And as often as we change clothes each day, it is easy to wear things multiple times. Breakfast: tee & shorts Pool: swimsuit & cover up Afternoon: capris & top (this may go into evening depending on my mood; or I may dress up a bit)
  21. Just got an offer for a free Balcony on Divinia via URComped. Have never sailed MSC & know little about it...so following!!
