    Having been at sea professionally in large vessels that is standard. Guess the Sun headline if no announcement made and a passenger tells tabloid fire on xxxand the captain didn't tell us.

    They bother because it is a legal requirement for ship to be dry docked st regular intervals for hull and underwater areas to be inspected and worked on as needed. It will also be a requirement for recertification & insurance.

    depends timing of glacier trip bus to Loen 10 minutes wait at sky lift bdepends on cruise groups etc according to mY VP Cunard glacier tour has 0930, 1130 and 1330 could probably be done if you choose first or third glacier tour independent tours go frequently

    Southampton local paper is reporting QA arrival as 1030 27th April at City Terminal.

    From a safety point of view I would think 1st ship arriving ie QA would dock.

    Flam PA indicates 3 ships there on 23rd June cruise. QA arrives 0730 the other 2 between 0800 & 0900

    an email from Cunard referencing my upcoming QA cruise gives details of CWC benefits for diamond level thus ◆ A complimentary meal at one of our alternative dining venues notice it does not say lunch or specify a venue
