  1. San Pellegrino & Perrier are both available with upcharge on CBP, included in the PBP. Not sure of the cost, as we had the PBP.
  2. Date of Cruise: 04 SEP 2021 Ship: Edge Cabin #: 10278 Deck #: 10 Cabin Category: SV Cabin Location: Aft Bed Position: By the closet / bath Balcony Type: Traditional Balcony/Window Size: Larger than average - very deep Balcony/Window View/Obstruction: Unbstructed aft view. Balcony Overhang?: Partial overhang; some shade depending on ship direction; very sunny mid-day. Magic Carpet Issues?: None Noise Issues?: None, very quiet cabin Wind Issues?: None Connecting Cabin? Where Does it Connect?: Not a connecting cabin. Suite Details: N/A Advantages/Problems/Comments: Very roomy cabin; this cabin is longer than the average cabin, with about 5 feet of extra space between the end of the sofa and the balcony door. Traditional balcony, not infinite veranda - very spacious, with room for 2 loungers in addition to the standard 2 chars & small table. Located at the very back of the ship, so a very long walk to the elevators. Minor issue with soot but not too bad. Would You Book It Again?: Would definitely book again on an E-Class ship for the traditional balcony and the very roomy cabin. Photos or Photo Links:
  3. DH & I took our rapid PCR/NAAT test at CVS this AM and had our negative results in about one hour. There are literally dozens of CVS locations that are closer to us but they only offered the rapid antigen test. South Florida has been a Covid hotspot, so a PCR/NAAT test seemed more reasuring. I was very happy to find a location that offers rapid results, even if it meant a 40 minute drive each way.
  4. Is the Raw on 5 menu on Edge similar to Sushi on 5 menu on Equinox?
  5. @graphicguy I have greatly enjoyed your review and general musings. Thank you for taking us along!
  6. It's about a 30 minute drive from PE. Appointments for 09/01 opened up today, so I booked it first thing this morning. They had plenty of time-slots available.
  7. We are also sailing 09/04 and I just scheduled our test for Wednesday, 09/01, based on X Healthy at Sea: https://www.celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea/accepted-covid-tests Scheduled a rapid NAAT test at CVS - results within hours.
  8. From a public safety standpoint, I believe the captain has an obligation to notify passengers of any cases of Covid-19 onboard. I would certainly want to know...
  9. We're not looking for any specific location, just a beach with some amenities - not necessarily a beach club. With all of the restrictions, I'm very concerned about inadvertently violating the Celebrity shorex policy. There have already been reports of cruisers venturing off and being denied boarding upon return. Unfortunate, there doesn't seem to be any information out there, even though there have already been a couple of sailings that stop in Costa Maya...
  10. Thanks for the insight, although I'm not sure I'm any clearer on the process than I was before🙃
  11. The Celebrity website indicates that only those on Celebrity shorex or "approved taxi tours" may go beyond the port area in Costa Maya. Does anyone know where these approved taxi tours go? TIA 🙂
  12. @cangelmd Thanks for posting this photo. Do you get the sense that venues are empty due to anything other than the reduced capacity sailing? Or does it seem like folks are avoiding certain areas?
  13. Thank you for posting this! DH & I are researching our options for next year so we can take advantage of the reduced deposit when we sail next month. Hope you continue enjoying your cruise 🍻
  14. I tried searching but perhaps I missed it. I see that Retreat Guests on Edge have a Spa Concierge for booking services, but I am wondering if access to the Thermal Suite is included with any of the suites on Edge. TIA 🙂
  15. We also received the same email for our Edge 09/04/2021 sailing...
  16. Just received the same email for our Edge 09/04/21 sailing...
  17. @myn Thank you for sharing. Truly unfortunate for the affected family, but breakthrough infections happen. It is very reassuring to see that the protocols in place are being followed and, more importantly, that they are working as intended.
  18. @graphicguy Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to share your experience, detailed photos and observations. Live (even semi live 😊) reviews take a lot of effort – kudos to you!
  19. @EMc&DrS What a thoughtful, objective and thorough review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sail in September and your cruise recap has me ready to start packing today! Kudos 🍻
  20. Here’s a photo of the very spacious balcony for cabin 9192 on Equinox. We had a small table, 2 chairs & 2 loungers with room to spare. Highly recommended 😁
  21. Thank you so much for taking time out of your vacation to keep us all posted. We sail this itinerary 09/04 so I really appreciate all the details and the Celebrity Today's. Enjoy the rest of your trip 🥂
  22. DH & I both received the survey email last week and deleted them. Today we received reminder emails, which we also deleted. We don't have any cruises booked this year, one cruise booked for April 2021 and one for September 2021.
