  1. the only way anyone is going to know if Cheers is worth it is to not have it and spend like your normally would on alcoholic beverages, coffee shop and non alc beverages. See your total and hten decide for next trip. We did that and spent $900 on a 4 night cruise so Cheers it is for us!
  2. In your carnival online account you will see any onboard credit given by carnival under booking and order detals, scroll down to middle of page, click view invoice details and it's listed in a box under your invoice. It shows the balance so if you've used it to buy or book anything, it shows your current balance.
  3. I wonder if they're adding the sports betting to the hub app or if the betmgm app will actually work at sea. Or, can we bet at the cashier or something like that too? Also, the games they have available on the TVs are so limited, you won't be able to watch the game you bet on. boo. I guess we'll see what happens with it.
  4. We always limit ourselves to one suitcase each but its not an airline carry on size. We take a medium size hardside clamshell type case for each of us and everything fits with no worries. The bags are easy to maneuver to carry on the ship but we do have to check it with the airline. If you're flying with the carry on size, I would partner that up with a backpack and definitely packing cubes/wear things a couple of times and spray with febreeze or downy wrinkle releaser. Good Luck!
  5. card or just let us have a qr code that links to our account on the phone. I don't like to wear any lanyards or anything on my wrist ever.
  6. Aetna reimbursed us $72 for our emed tests. Submit your receipt if you have insurance to see if they will pay you back.
  7. Mexico doesn't require anything but I still have to get tested for a cruise going only to Mexican ports so that logic doesn't really work either. It's just posturing for the government so they don't shut them down again from what I see. The testing is worthless and expensive in many cases.
  8. If you don't have a credit card, put cash down on your account to avoid all the nonsense that goes on with your bank and carniva holds.
  9. We were on the 3/12 sailing and we weren't off the ship until about 10:45am. I don't know what the hold up was but there were people stacked everywhere!
  10. My parents are on this cruise. Carnival autobooked them into a balcony room on deck 6 which is above bonsai sushi, alchemy and two bars - red frog pub and piano bar. Definitley not how I booked them on the Miracle, I always book with cabins above and below. Anyone have experience with noise level in a cabin like this? They are 6399 on Radiance. Carnival also cancelled the steakhouse reservations and they specifically booked those reservations before they raised the price. Now, Carnival won't honor the old price or give onboard credit for the difference...wow! It's only like $9 per person but still, I thought they could at least match the price for a situation they caused. If the cabin is going to be a noise nightmare for 2 weeks, I'm not sure they are going to want to go. Final payment is July 18 so they have time to get feedback.
