What not to miss on Harmony of the Seas
PompeySailor replied to seaandsea's topic in Royal Caribbean International

All cool π

As you say, each to their own The food is nice, we enjoy the club, we only pay what we think it is worth to us and when on vacation we like to chill away from the craziness and noise. The beach club offers that. and funny we enjoy seafood so when it is an option we like to try it i donβt like Jazz, so I wouldnβt go to a jazz club or comment on a jazz thread about how good or bad the Jazz was in the club on a formal night or beach day π When in Rome as they say, when you visit places out of the norm, why do mundane normal things, live a little π YOLO When on a land based day at the beach would you eat lobster ? oh you donβt eat lobster π Growing up on the coast, every time I went to the beach I pretty much ate something fishy or even caught it and cooked it on the beach π Happy Days! and getting back on topic, many would wear swimwear in MDR on formal night to eat lobster if they could. But you have to like lobster in the first place JAZZ hands ππ»

Iβd have to agree π― with your assessment ππ»

But you canβt eat lobster in the MDR wearing a bikini and flip flops π

Yacht Club -- visitors (on the ship, and Ocean Cay) ?
PompeySailor replied to Tom-n-Cheryl's topic in MSC Cruises
Tom Just FYI the YC part of the island is actually another island only reachable by bridge (walkable and Trolley) There is an employee at the entrance to the bridge who checks if you are a YC guest The YC restaurant and beach area to the side is where there are cabanas. The other YC beach has NO chairs or umbrellas, so most use the beach adjacent to the restaurant We found the beach to be quiet and there were 3 empty cabanas behind us The sand at the main YC beach is not that soft, bring water shoes Iβll see if I have photos of the cabana area at YC for you Iβm sure you are a Star Class cruiser, and you will enjoy the YC being fully ship within a ship concept Happy Days! We ventured out after 140 cruises between us and like the MSC product -

$89 Dec 03 2022 It was a price we were able to book for a few of our future cruises as well . There was a thread when this price was advertised and a lot of folks grabbed multiple slots We enjoy the food and the pool we also like to snag a day bed near Bar (free) We would not pay more than $110 not worth it to us Happy Days! The day bed nicely placed by the bar, loved it

Was hoping @kfnesqhad a copy of the in room suite document you find in a GS or higher highlighting the free internet on Enchantment Happy Days!

Adventure of the Seas Deal
PompeySailor replied to broadwaycam's topic in Royal Caribbean International
$133 pppn excellent deal and summer as well ππ» We are always on the lookout for <$150 deals, rare but they are out there -
What category of suite are you in? @Cruise for vacation Star and Sky class will get complimentary Internet anyways What is in question is, someone said they got Internet on a NON oasis/Quantum class ship, which no other Suite guest has experienced or reported on here. Icon has Star and Sky class, I have cabins booked ππ»
-
Normally something like this happens, this place would light up with all that have had it Plenty on here who sail non Oasis /Quantum class in full suites surely would have started a thread π I am not doubting the person who said they had it, it is certainly a possibility Any other suite dwellers can report back @George C @A&L_Ont @twangster Happy Days!
-
Well if it is new fleet wide, will look forward to getting it in GS and RS we have booked
-
New to me too We have never gotten free internet even staying in the Royal Suite on non oasis/quantum class ships Was it a gift from TA or someone else Or is this new, is it published anywhere Do you have a copy of the in suite letter from concierge showing the free internet

We didnβt get the 150CP vibe until a few years back, so we missed out on the salts π’ We are making up for it now though -

RCL Star Class vs. NCL Haven
PompeySailor replied to Hutcha's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thank you for your insight, this kind of review is what we look for when we want to dip our toes trying something new ππ» We really need to try The Haven, itβ sure is in the future, we enjoyed a quick sailing on PRIMA and liked the product We found the Retreat (Premium Suites) on Celebrity leaps and bounds better than Star Class We also find the Yacht Club on MSC to be better than Star Class Star Class was an after thought and until Royal has the Suite neighborhood on Icon up and running, it is way overpriced compared to the other lines IMO Star class was nice, donβt get me wrong, but it didnβt really wow like Celebrity Retreat and value for money MSC YC canβt be beat. Happy Days! -
Will look out for the review Thank you Enjoy
