I think once ticketed you go through the airline. For my upcoming YYZ/Tampa flights, for departing flights, I was able to book seats with United for free once I received the email from NCL with my flights. But for the return with Air Canada I’d have to pay for seats so I’ll just wait - I think.

We flew in to San Juan two days before our cruise departed. And good thing as there was a storm that stopped all flights for a day after we arrived in San Juan. From what I know NCL has a list of airlines it uses - I don’t know if Westjet is one of them. Good luck and let us know what flights you get. I hope it’s direct. I just go for cheap and cheerful. I saved over $700 by booking with NCL as I’m flying over the high demand right after Christmas (school is out) weeks.

Last year we did BOGO YYZ to San Juan and got United flights with a stopover in Washington each way. It was seamless.

My cruise is in 103 days and I just got my flights assigned by NCL (BOGO) for Toronto / Tampa. Departure with AA at 11am has a 1:10 stopover in Philadelphia and direct return with Air Canada late flight at 8pm. Not bad although I’m worried about the short transfer time in Philadelphia.

I just booked an inside cabin for two on the epic for a busy expensive week Dec 31 to Jan 7 2023. I really want a balcony but that’s an additional 980 (C$) now. There are no ocean view on this ship. As it’s a popular week, what are the chances of getting an upgrade for less than the current $980? Not sure what to do.

Hi all, I’m booked for a mid June cruise that I paid for ages ago. Today my Azamara account says I owe the balance. I’m assuming I can just ignore this and not worry about it as it’s yet another site glitch? I don’t want to call in as I don’t have hours to wait. But at the same time I’m worried they’ll expect me to pay? (I booked through a travel agent who is not very good so don’t want to go thorough them lol - got a deal with them). Any advice ?

Hi all. I have a mid-June cruise booked that didn’t show in my account until yesterday. That’s after I completed the form on April 3 and again a week ago. A few days ago I received an email confirming the form receipt and that everything should now be corrected. I replied that my cruise was still not showing up and repeated the form content. Then voila yesterday my cruise showed up in my account. Hope it’ll improve for everyone 🤞.

Hi everyone. Related questions. We depart on the epic in three weeks. I’ve heard that one can only book comedians once on board and that they sell out quickly. But as there are major boarding issues one the epic these days I’m thinking of avoiding that by arriving around 4. But then maybe I won’t get tickets to the comedians? Any insights or advice on this?

Hi there. About a year ago booked bogo air with NCL for a cruise this march in and out of San Juan. I received my flight times around Christmas. My flights are United and they have one stop over each way through Washington. Times aren’t great. Departure at 7am (two days prior) and for return flight I arrive around midnight. Plus one layover is short ~50 min. That said I’m pleased as it saves me over 1k. But flights could’ve been better as there are direct flights. And I’m thankful that I booked the air deviation two days early as if I miss the flight - I think unites will eventually get me there.

Thanks. I wish we had the time for 14 days but not this year. Love Amsterdam - I lived in the Netherlands a while back so I know the city very well.

Hi everyone. I’m on the Epic on march 5. Flying from Toronto. I received my flight details around Christmas. United flights. Stop over in Washington both ways. Departure to San Juan is super early at 6 am and return flight at 4pm. I’m pretty happy with the flights considering how cheap the whole thing was. And I requested a two day air deviation before the cruise. See some of you on the ship!

Hi everyone. I’m looking for 7 to 10 day cruise that visits Norwegian fjords that doesn’t break the bank. I found a HAL one that departs June 17 that looks decent based on ports I’ve researched on this thread. What do you think? Other ideas? We can depart anytime from mid June to October. I’m trying to keep the cost down as we depart from Toronto so with Canadian dollars and steeper flight prices, it’s a challenge. The HAL cruise I booked is about 5k Canadian for a limited view verandah and everything included. Or maybe I should wait to book? Your feedback much appreciated.

I have a cruise booked with my DH out of San Juan on March 5 and we just got our flight details yesterday - more than 60 days in advance. We fly from Toronto with one one stop over in Washington with United. Departure is at 6am. Not great flights but could be worse?
