  1. On our cruise in April, passengers that did not have an electronic ticket were allowed to use their room key.
  2. Thank you. I think we would definitely be on a bus with the Holland America transfer.
  3. Thank you so much! You have answered a question my travel agent could not find.
  4. Thank you. I have been looking at Arrive Can and I do not know what to put for Port of Entry. Does anyone know where the land crossing into Canada will be? I thought Holland America would tell us that on our transfer instructions but they did not.
  5. We have received the Military OBC for the past 3 cruises. However, I applied for our Hawaii trip in January 2023 and that cruise does not qualify for the program.
  6. We received our boarding passes a little earlier than August 4th. Here is a copy of how it says the process will work for the transfer from Seattle to Vancouver on September 18, 2022. Sun Sep 18 SEATTLE Upon arrival at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on the day of sailing, collect your luggage and follow the signs to the Cruise Bus Lobby located on the First Floor of the Parking Garage via the Orange Elevators and check in with a Bus Transfer Rep. You must check in with a Bus transfer rep between 8am - 10am. Guests who do not check-in with a rep by 10AM will risk missing the transfer and will be on their own to get to Vancouver. The transfer will depart as soon as all guests are accounted for but no later than 10:30AM. Travel time is about 4 hours, subject to traffic conditions and Canadian border crossing. If unable to locate a representative, please have one paged or call 1-206-2329 /p> **IMPORTANT** Upon arrival, check in with a representative at the airport no later than 10:00 am for your transfer to Vancouver. The final coach departs promptly at 11:00 am. **PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS** The Department of Homeland Security requires you to carry a passport or other WHTI-approved document. Please have either your passport or other WHTI-approved document ready for Canadian Immigration and Customs officials. View the following website if you have any questions about crossing the Canadian border: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/noncan-eng.html. Sun Sep 18 VANCOUVER, B.C., CA 4
  7. Our cruise is not until September 18, 2022. Our understanding is it will leave from the airport but we do not get our boarding pass until around August 4th. I am thinking the meeting time will be on the boarding pass. I will try and remember to come back and let you know how it works.
  8. Thank you for all of your posts and beautiful pictures. So glad you had a great trip with your granddaughter. Have a safe trip home.
  9. Beautiful pictures. I am really enjoying following you and your family on this trip. I am sure your granddaughter is having the time of her life. We will be getting on the Noordam in September. Looking forward to your reviews of the ship. Thank you!
  10. We went to Guest Services the night before the port and they printed us off a walking map of the port we were visiting.
  11. Thank you, muffin. This has been added new. I have copied and pasted the info. (New) Will I still need a pre-cruise test before embarkation if I have recently recovered from COVID-19? Guests who have recovered from COVID-19 within three months of their embarkation, do not need to get a viral test before embarkation if they are at least 10 days past their COVID-19 infection, have no symptoms and produce documentation of recovery from COVID-19 infection. Documentation of Recovery consists of the following: Paper or electronic copies of the positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days ago), or A valid digital COVID-19 certificate (DCC) or a document issued by an official health or government authority showing confirmed previous infection. Guests who present these documents will need to go through a secondary screening at the terminal and boarding will be approved at the medical staff’s discretion. If guests are not able to obtain documentation of recovery that fulfills the above requirements, they will need to take the required COVID-19 viral test and show a negative result.
  12. I am not sure if things have changed since April but my husband and I had Covid in February and were going on the Transatlantic. I was afraid one of the countries we were visiting would require a PCR which could still show positive. I called Holland America and they said I would still need to have a Letter of Recovery. We also had our Covid tests at our local Urgent Care Clinic. They sent me to our local county Health Department, where they furnished us with a Letter of Recovery with all the information we needed. When we got to the cruise port, it didn't matter what we had because they tested everyone getting on the ship, maybe because we were going to Europe. We had not problem passing the antigen test.
  13. We just got off the Rotterdam and were on the Transatlantic cruise. All of our tickets were digital, on the Navigator App. The passengers that did not have them on their phone, they only had to provide their cabin number and they were able to board the bus.
  14. With the VeriFly app, you enter your Holland America booking number. All the information about the cruise is automatically added. Then you go to, Manage Trip, Manage Checklist, and it will let you know the information you need to upload. This will include your photo, Covid vaccination form, Covid test results and Complete Health Assessment.
