We had your cabin 8330 the week of march 17th. Girls trip of 4 middle aged women, We had Francisco. He is a newer genie, but did a decent job. This was my 3rd time in the 2bed ats. Things could have been more organized and we missed some stuff because we didn't know about them (such as I love the private star class flow rider sessions, missed the parade area seating and a few others). We still had a great time. I had 89 show up for the pub crawl and 55 for the slot pull, so it was a busy week with fun events. Enjoy the cabin and the ship. Always a great time on any Oasis class ship!

We weren't able to secure groups for the inaugural sailing, only future sailings.

All is true. I am fortunate that I do it cause I love to help people (retired nurse). I feel bad when others are lied too, looks bad on all of us.

Sorry to hear this. The booking agent would have to release back to RC. They don't get paid commission until you return from travel, so as of now they haven't been paid for any services they rendered. If you decide not to use a TA know that we can get great group rates, price protection and some offer extra on board credit and other support. In the future, just be sure to interview your prospective TA. Ask them all the hard questions. Working with a TA should feel like you are having a friend book for you. Best of luck and happy cruising!

My expectations from myself. Price drop protection and also looking for upgrades for the same price (or within approved amount from my client before changing), extra perks, quick reply to all questions, up to date information, cruise planner price checks(per request), follow up on any issues in a prompt manner and more...these are just the basics I would expect.

Sometimes the prices vary due to ship, ports and how many cabins they still have in inventory. Depending on the sailing as an agent we sometimes have group rates (no you don't have to be a group to book a cabin in a group). If you do have 8 or more cabins then you can get extra perks ( extra OBC, amenities, or even a free or discounted cabin). If you like the price, book it or have an agent do it. They should be willing to check for price drops for you and some give extra perks as well. 🙂

How long were you on the wait list? I never knew this was a thing and am thinking might be a great idea to get on the list now. Thanks! -
Organizing a Family Reunion Cruise
Krazyfuntimes replied to punkyhunky's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I would Strongly encourage you to use a travel agent. There are specialist with Royal cruises or just cruises in general. It takes someone who is familiar with cruises and groups to make sure it is booked correctly. You also need to book pretty far in advance to get the best rates. When booking more than 8 cabins (and every group of 8 cabins there after) you get perks or amounts to even equal free cabins. You will also need all legal names, DOB's, special food allergies, location they prefer on the ship (and more important can everyone agree on a ship, with varied ages, I would say do an Oasis or Quantum class ship). Once you have all that information, you should be good to go. They can create the booking, while waiting for down payment. Typically up to 5 days after you have held the booking. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. -
Do they mix the age groups at the kids club?
Krazyfuntimes replied to dulcemariamar's topic in Disney Cruise Line
Does anyone know if a kid can age up to go the Edge? My grandson turns 11 the day after the cruise ends. This year he really wanted to go but at age 9 they said no. I was hoping since he would be days away from 11 that this might be allowed. Any ideas? -
WOS review May 7th - 14th the good and the meh
Krazyfuntimes replied to nimbex1970's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had Costal Kitchen delivered to the room once for dinner and then on the last morning for breakfast. No complaints. The rest of the time we did speciality at the restaurant or had it delivered to the room. All was good. -

I was on the same sailing. Wonder is an amazing ship. We too hid ducks. We were star class, so we never ate at the MDR, but that would have been a turn off for me too. Glad you were able to make memories and enjoy the ship! -
Icon 1BRGS pricing question
Krazyfuntimes replied to vacationlover_mn's topic in Royal Caribbean International
How about getting a JR suite SKY class. That is a new option on this ship. Or if you just want a SKY suite the Surfside has the cheapest I have seen with SKY class. No oceanview, but the cheapest option. -
Can anyone tell me how much the package is pre cruise versus onboard? The Disney credit card says they give 20% off if you buy onboard. Wasn't sure if buying it before boarding was the same as the discount or more expensive. Obviously trying to get the best price. Thanks!

Marvel Cruise - How different is it from other Cruises?
Krazyfuntimes replied to Lindabee5000's topic in Disney Cruise Line
No pirate night. I have spent over a dozen hours on the phone trying to get the correct answer. Finally today they said NO. I have never done a themed cruise, so can't help you out there, but for sure no pirates. Have a blast! -

We got covid on both of our cruises this year, vaccinated and boosted. Makes no difference, even when they had testing. -

Krazyfuntimes replied to J0Y0US's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I have done this 4 times, all resulted in a JS. All Oasis class ships.
