  1. I was there a couple weeks ago. At about knee depth, the beach is all broken shells and coral pieces.
  2. I was quite disappointed with Coco Loco. Just a frozen smoothie with some run poured on top.
  3. Barefoot Beach. Which is ironically named since if you wade into the water in bare feet, you'll regret it.
  4. Book as soon as that season's itineraries are released
  5. I got notifications. Just, like twice out of about 10 messages.
  6. The Beef and mushroom pie on British night can't be made GF. Even the filling. But British night is on 8+ night cruises.
  7. It works like any other messaging app, albeit bare bones. And notifications for new messages are pretty sporadic.
  8. I tend to sleep better on cruise ship mattresses than at home. Then again the liquor might help that.
  9. Serenade is a fine ship. If it's a cruise you like, book it.
  10. Did you tell this to the staff when they served your food? Or did you just save it all up for a message board rant after the cruise?
  11. It depends on the ports and if you've been to those ports before
  12. Yes, and that gets quite expensive. Much cheaper just to get single trip plans unless you have a ton of cruises booked.
  13. Trip cancellation/interruption reimbursement is a lot lower than single trip policies, at least in my research.
  14. You'll get an early check-in time the next morning, too. Don't lose sleep (literally) over it.
  15. Dry dock was extended for no good reason other than it took longer than expected, likely due to supply chain delays.
  16. Go with the bigger room. 4 people in a regular room can get tight real fast.
  17. And this is why there are multiple cabin classes on a ship
  18. Minimal if you don't drink, don't want to have a dedicated space for breakfast, don't like free galley/bridge tours and do like standing in lines to disembark
  19. Priority departure is one of the most undervalued perks of being in a suite. You get sent right to the front of the line to exit the ship, and sometimes that can save you a ton of time.
