  1. I actually found it very easy. Everything on one page with the ability to link to "all". So, under excursions, it shows some with a link to "show all".
  2. Plan my cruise was glitching earlier today. I just logged back in and clicked on "plan my cruise" and there's a whole new page, completely updated and different looking.
  3. Okay, now I get why it was glitching. They updated the "plan my cruise" page. Whole new look.
  4. I coughed the last 4 days of the second leg of our b2b and no one ever said a word. I had sinusitis and tested negative (flu and covid) at the peak of my illness when I got home and went to Urgent Care. A lot of people were hacking and coughing onboard and I mean a lot, probably 40% of those onboard. I coughed a lot and so were others, but I haven't heard of them pulling anyone aside and testing them. As for the health screening, technically she has a cough, but you know why. I have a real issue with the health screening as it's way too generic and doesn't prove anything at all. If I had the symptoms I developed at the end of our cruise before I boarded and answered the questions honestly, I would not have been allowed to board even though I was negative and did not have covid. A cough means absolutely nothing, nor does a runny nose. Heck, even a temperature (I had one with my infection) doesn't mean anything. A sinus infection causes a temp but you can't catch a sinus infection. You can catch the cold that caused it, but not a sinus infection itself.
  5. Well, considering those on the May 13 roll call are talking about preboarding testing, I think you misunderstood what the staff member said. No testing between b2b's, but everyone is still required to test before boarding. You've done some guessing on here and posted info that has been shown to be incorrect. That is how rumors and incorrect info gets spread.
  6. Glitch. I get the same thing on the website.
  7. I love when people get corrected on something that can be proven, that they're "not interested in debating anymore". You posted something, I countered with a fact. Upper respiratory infections(which include colds and sinusitis as well as bronchitis/pneumonia) cause productive coughs. Covid does not.
  8. Weird he said others might not be able to offer it but he was able to. They are all contractors and limited to what they can and can't do. I've just never heard of that happening.
  9. Never heard of them doing that for a booking.
  10. Covid coughs are dry. Allergy/sinus coughs are wet. Look it up. I just got over a sinus infection I caught while on EN a couple of weeks ago (cold moved to sinuses almost immediately). It was a very productive cough and when tested when I got home, I was negative for flu and covid and was diagnosed with sinusitis.
  11. DH and I used ours a few weeks ago with zero issues. I had ordered 4 to have 2 backups but we didn't need the extras. I will order two more for our next cruise in July. The entire process took about 30 minutes for each of us.
  12. I think that will happen eventually just like with Noro or any other illness.
  13. I just looked at the PDF from our emed test results from Mar 31 and there is no CLIA# on the document, but it does say CLIA down next to the Lab Director's signature. We also used a lab in FL for our Nov cruise and it didn't have a CLIA number either. I've never known anyone who has been turned away..
  14. I believe that the facts are you need a larger sample and a control in order to come up with any conclusion. And, it's not just me who believes that, it's how it's actually done in the real world.
  15. Way, way too small a sample (and not controlled at all) to make any conclusions from.
  16. We're D+. We get $6 and used it on day 10 of a 12 day cruise and then the second day of our 8 day (b2b).
  17. I don't think people realize that if they tested everyone for the flu they would find asymptomatic cases also. As for the gall bladder comment, I had an attack on a cruise in 2018, but just dealt with it as I'd had a few others that to me seemed like gas pain. After I got home, I found out what the issue was after an ultrasound and bloodwork and had my gall bladder removed a couple of months later. Gall bladders/stones cause so many different symptoms that people don't realize. It's more than just pain. Because the Dr's onboard can't test for everything, they default to things like Noro and now Covid.
  18. Yes, they do for some excursions. For example, going to a beach like Playa Mia in Cozumel.
  19. We just bid up from a JS to a GS with the minimum bid for our July EN cruise to Bermuda. What they want is people to bid up to open up lower category cabins. It just depends on how many people do. And, people have won with the lowest bid. It's more dependent on supply than anything else.
  20. Depends on the port, especially smaller islands, in some places, all they have are mini buses or mini vans. Some excursions use local taxis (Cozumel is a good example for that). Even the buses/mini buses that have seatbelts aren't really set up for carseat installation. Check out the threads here on the family cruising pages. Might be some info there. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/28-family-cruises/
  21. Covid is not spread on surfaces.
  22. Anyone notice that when cases fluctuate on land, they fluctuate onboard, regardless of protocols? It's the nature of the virus.
  23. Unvaccinated is the key word here. Vaccinated people aren't in the same situation. People are also still dying from the flu, pneumonia, etc every year, mainly due to not being vaccinated. It is still not the same disease as it was at the beginning.
