I think people would be surprised if they tested everyone for other viruses such as the flu, there would be positive cases on most every ship. I ended up with a sinus infection on our EN cruise in April. Viruses are always around. Colds, flu, noro, covid. They will always be around. We haven't worn masks except at Dr's offices for well over a year and always only where required. We've never tested positive but we also don't go running to get tested with every sniffle. Our internist thinks testing is way overdone and she's not the only Dr who thinks so. My BIL and our DS and DDIL have all had covid in the last couple of weeks. Mild cold symptoms, two with low grade temps, one with no temp. Plus we know several other people who have had it all with the same minor symptoms.
