  1. You don't have to "break in" to steal something. You really don't get it do you? I see you using moral equivalency here. And, I'm guessing to justify actions of your own.
  2. So, you think it's not illegal to go through someone's bag and take something?
  3. You are kidding I hope. Someone went through her bag and took something that wasn't theirs. That is called stealing. Or are you one of those that believes the "finders keepers' crap?
  4. Someone always has to play Devil's advocate. We were there. Lunch service had the same problem the last couple of days and they were working more tables due to waitstaff absence. They were very obviously short handed as we could all see.
  5. As vouchers, they don't. When I've had vouchers that have a couple of dollars or less on them, I've given them to someone when I leave the casino. I've had others do the same for me. That said, it's still theft.
  6. It does. We were just on EN a couple of weeks ago and had a private excursion the evening we arrived in Bermuda. We needed to be off about an hour after dinner and they got us through and out on time. But, our second to last night our wait staff disappeared for a couple of long periods of time and all we can figure is that they were so short handed that they were helping with other tables. Galley was also slow in getting items out which shows how short handed they were also.
  7. On EN, GS and JS (except some aft JS on deck 7) are on deck 8 so not far to move. You will have the same access as those staying in the same cabin. And, yes cabin access is 2 pm. We just got off EN a couple of weeks ago and did a b2b on her in April.
  8. Because they rotate serving staff and introduce new ones so it takes them a day or so to get in the groove. First morning breakfast is the same. They're also short of staff and anytime servers or galley staff test positive it leaves the work for others to help out.
  9. Obviously some people feel very strongly about the topic and no one is going to change their minds. Some opinions are based on sheer fear yet they'll never admit it. Others feel like they were sold a bill of goods. As long as no one is breaking CC rules, opinions are going to be across the board on all topics.
  10. Yes, but you may be charged a corkage fee. Not something we hear happens, but it is possible.
  11. It's only on cruises of 7 nights or longer where there are two formal nights. We did the 6 night Bermuda cruise on EN in July and there was no second formal night or lobster then either.
  12. But, it clearly says testing is required for Bermuda. Not RCI's fault if people don't read the entire notice. It's very, very clear and easy to understand whether you have cruised or not over the last two years. There are other rules and requirements that people seem to understand so why not these? I'm guessing you thought it meant something it didn't. You're just reading something that isn't there.
  13. I never said "Covid". Please re read my posts. You saw what you wanted to see.
  14. Absolutely and I have said the same a few times. Each person has to be responsible for themselves.
  15. Are you kidding? I don't think that really needs to be said, but in case someone is that obtuse. People who are out and about are exposed all the time to all kinds of illnesses/virus/bacteria. People who go grocery shopping, to church, to Dr's appointments, open doors that others have opened, breathe, etc.
  16. You do realize you are exposed everyday to people who have little to no symptoms but are contagious with a variety of things right? Whether or not your actually get sick is just luck of the draw.
  17. You mean where it says "BOARDING DAY TESTING"? How is that not clear? Once again, reading comprehension is sorely lacking if someone thinks that means ALL TESTING. It's also all the individual's fault if they only read that and misread it .
  18. How exactly is this unclear? Reading comprehension seems to be an issue for some, but that's not Royals' responsibility. Updated Protocols for Bermuda 2022 Sailings While requirements for sailing have changed for some destinations, most of Bermuda’s local regulations and requirements are still in place. This means your vaccination and pre-cruise testing requirements remain unchanged.
  19. That's what we hope. We're doing a b2b on Jewel in Nov. I fully expect RCI to follow suit.
  20. Princess also. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/princess-cruises-removes-vaccine-requirement-for-most-voyages-elminates-pre-cruise-testing-for-vaccinated-guests-301605197.html
  21. I'm retired. He will be in just over a year. But... three years ago when I got hurt (dislocated kneecap, ankle and fractured fibula, he stayed home with me for 7 weeks because I needed the help. We did fine other than a couple of snaps at each other when we were frustrated. I needed help with meals, dr's appointments, PT as I couldn't drive for about 6.5 weeks as I was in a boot. It was my left leg, but I couldn't get the boot under the console in my SUV because my knee bend wasn't great. Once I got into an ankle brace, I was able to drive and get myself to PT and appointments. We learned a lot and one of them was that we have to be there for each other.
  22. Not that we can't be apart, we don't choose to be. 41 years married and perfectly happy to share a JS. Having been a US Naval Officer's wife, I've had my fair share of apart time early in our marriage (months at a time) and his work travel and reserve active duty time (up to two weeks). When we leave our cabin to go to breakfast or into port, there's invariably cabins being cleaned so doors are opened. The amount of stuff people have spread out everywhere is wild and completely unfair to the steward. We're the same way in hotels. Heck, we're that way at home too. You will never find clothing strewn around anywhere in our house, especially after our boys grew out of their HS and college years and moved out.
