  1. Deck 16 is the drawing on top... The video is deck 16 (16010) and the bathroom is next to the bedroom.
  2. I found the following from "Cruiseswithfamilyornot" (World Europa) "I was in Room 18001, which is one of the Owner Suites. Great room. Comfortable bed, plenty of storage, walk in closet, and our butler Sandor deserves medals he was that good. Negatives were shower was shockingly small and tight(smaller and tighter than a regular yacht club deluxe suite), and the 2/3 of the balcony was in easy viewing distance from the outside area of the Top Sail Lounge, which was not great." There's also a post from "alistairg" who stayed in World Europa OS 16002 "We wanted the larger room, smaller deck as we spend more time inside."
  3. That would be deck 18 Neither has a second bathroom from what I have seen....
  4. With the balcony door closed and sealed, noise from Spice H2O isn't a problem. If you try to hear something, you can but any sound/bass that you hear won't be any more disruptive than the other sounds that you hear on a moving ship. Going down to deck 10 would also put you closer to the sound caused by the ship's propellers. With the door sealed, it isn't an issue and some people enjoy the sound but going down to deck 10 won't be silent, either.
  5. The posts that quoted yours just better explained what NCL actually paid. Your post was... ...which could be misleading if people didn't read the article.
  6. On the NCL site (Explore >>> Find a Cruise) , click "More Filters" and check the "Free 3rd and 4th Guests" and "Apply" to see what is currently available. It can change at different times so keep looking if you don't find what you want. Also, just because it is available now doesn't mean that it will always be available. MOST NCL ships have plenty of bells and whistles. Sun is a bit older so I would recommend a newer/larger ship for kids.
  7. How would she... ...get from that boat to deck 4 on Dawn? If she's having trouble going down from the dock to the boat, how would she go up from the boat to the ship?
  8. I know about capacity. It is often over 100%. Some non-cruising people see "over 100%..." and they fear that there won't be enough lifeboats for everyone "...like Titanic..." CC members generally understand or can understand that over 100% isn't a deathtrap.
  9. https://www.insideedition.com/south-carolina-tourists-stranded-on-island-off-central-african-coast-after-missing-cruise-departure Getting the elderly woman onto the boat from the dock was difficult....(:32 in the video)
  10. I'm not denying anything. I've booked independent excursions, too. My point is that whatever negative publicity this will generate, NCL will continue to fill their ships and as a possible side effect, people might be less likely to book the independent excursion if (in the back of their mind) people remember this story.
  11. ...and ships will continue to sail at over 100% capacity.... ...and more people will book NCL sponsored excursions instead of booking independent excursions.
  12. "Attach a scan or screen capture of your current external loyalty card. File formats accepted are doc, docx, and pdf. Maximum file size is 4MB. A unique email address is required and once the application has been confirmed, you will receive a message to the email address provided with an MSC Voyagers Club Card Number."
  13. Because of the angle, you'll only be seen from above when you're at the railing.
  14. EDIT Asking about B1s, not Haven. On Escape/Joy/Bliss/Encore, the size order is 9, 12, 15, 14, 11, 10, 13 from deepest to least deep.
  15. Follow the money....... The stranded people can squeeze more compensation out of NCL or from a fauxfundme page than they'll ever get from the tour operator.
  16. I've seen it happen in Mexico. I've heard people say it on a tender in Grand Cayman. I've seen it posted by people on the forum. Too many people want to shop after their excursion returns. In most cases, that's not a problem. If the ship's excursion returns a little bit late, that shopping plan might have to get cancelled.
  17. To be clear, once the ship-sponsored excursion returns, the guest doesn't get to wander around the port window shopping figuring "....they'll wait for me...I was on a ship's excursion...". That's why I put "to a point" because some guests think that the ship will wait indefinitely....it won't.
  18. "...eight guests who were on the island on their own or with a private tour missed the last tender back to the vessel,..." I've taken excursions that were booked through the cruise line. I've taken excursions that were not booked through the cruise line. I've been late returning to the ship while on a cruise line's excursion. I've never been late returning to the ship while on a "non cruise line's" excursion. If an over-priced cruise line's excursion comes with the assurance that the ship will wait (up to a point) if I am late, I'll pay the extra...especially since I can use OBC to pay.
