  1. That is the normal departure time .... they love leaving the lagoon with Mt Otemanu in the background.
  2. for the 7 night it is usually around 4:30 pm on day 2 ... but there are no guarantees.
  3. Drift is only offered in the morning. In the afternoon it can get windy and the current may switch. You can't even go over to the motu until 10 AM. You will arrive back at the motu around noon ... just in time for lunch 😉
  4. no problem for the PU. As far as the return you need to find out the last tender time. This changes based on the itinerary and if it is the 1st or 2nd day.
  5. The beautiful Kia Ora ... taken last July ... see you on-board
  6. There is a difference between the 24 hour room service menu and what your wanting ... I'm giving it to you right off the July flyers
  7. Keep in mind the tender times can change depending on itinerary ... mine stated 3:30 PM as the last tender on day 2.
  8. According to the last daily schedule I have breakfast room service doesn't start until 6:30 AM. I usually go up to the rear of deck 8 to the bar/lounge and they will make me a coffee drink starting around 6 AM
  9. You need to verify that PG had your prior trips on record. From their web page it appears Ponant doesn't have records prior to 2013 as far as your prior trips. They had my count incorrect ... I went back and found some records of all our prior trips on the PG and sent them to Ponant. Took awhile but they got the number corrected. Do any corrections prior to your cruise. But to answer your quest as long as they have at least one of your prior trips on your account you will get the free laundry 😉
  10. Depends on many factors ... weather, location on the ship and how many people are on the bandwidth. I use it all the time and find it usually is fine though don't expect lighting speed.
  11. The answer is usually yes. On the last 2 PG cruises we did this year it was 'yes'. However, last year was a bit different because of covid. So ... the answer today is likely yes ... we are on the same cruise as you and we will bring our own snorkel and mask but get fins from the ship. See you on-board.
  12. Sometimes they do tickets that you get in the piano bar ... that is for people to get on after the ship excursion people ... usually only when the ship is very full 😉
  13. I've never had a taxi say no to USD but I always ask before jumping into the car. Most use a phone app that converts. They prefer USD as it is so strong currently against the XPF 😉
  14. Tenders run every half hour .... last one depends on itinerary. On day 2 it is usually 3:30 PM but as I said it may be different for you, just stating what mine was last July.
  15. They actually prefer USD but will accept XPF or Eruos Wouldn't count on a CC for the taxi.
  16. They won't let you board the tender before the ship excursions no matter if your there 20 minutes early.
  17. As previously mentioned it depends on how full the ship is. If it is full the first tender could be pretty full with ship excursions.
  18. Ship excursions have priority for the first tender. First tender on day 2 is often at 8:30 AM. So .... it comes down to how full the ship is. I always tell my private tours that I'll be on the first or second tender but I could be arriving around 9:00 AM.
