    Carnival didn't make the OP use gift cards - that was their choice. Isn't that what we read so often on other topics? Choice. Now they want Carnival to transfer money to a competitor. Totally unreasonable.

    If the skies stay clear... Forecast: Auroral activity will be active. Weather permitting, active auroral displays will be visible overhead from Utqiaġvik to Anchorage and Juneau, and visible low on the horizon from King Salmon and Prince Rupert. but maybe not until late

    How did that work for them? It was already all over the internet. Nobody was coerced into signing anything - they were still going to refund the cruise fare.

    The analyst missed the boat. It's $1B in unsecured debt to start paying off existing debt, some of which is at a higher interest rate, with earlier maturity. Carnival had already pledged most ships as collateral; it will be good to start getting them out of hock.

    If too many people are crammed into a viewing area you want, just go to the other side of the ship and yell "WHALE!" Then quickly proceed back to your preferred viewing area.

    This is why Carnival Corp has a variety of cruise lines at different price points. They are not trying to compete with each other. That would be stupid.

    Since this is all on Carnival, no insurance or passport really needed. The responsibility falls on Carnival.

    They certainly should have the molds used for Sunrise and Radiance for Magica, which may have a new urgency to start sailing.

    I didn't see a match from any cruise line from Port Canaveral, Tampa, or Jacksonville.

    I'm not sure if new crew on a ship would have to quarantine first.
