  1. As pointed out, the LNG ships will still use some "real" fuel. And I suspect will still burn garbage.
  2. Vista has priority at Terminal 1 so is always there. Dream moves around to accommodate. Express lot is very convenient for Terminal 2; less so for Terminal 1.
  3. If you want to plug multiple things in at the same time, yes. However - there is a hair dryer in the cabin, so you may or may not need one. If you bring a high wattage dryer, I would be careful plugging anything else in, less you blow the breaker and need to call maintenance. No experience with CPAP, but I assume you would need an extension cord for that. You might call the special needs department and see if you can get Carnival to provide. NO surge protectors are allowed - it constitutes a fire hazard on a ship. I even had an extension cube with an on-off switch confiscated at Mobile - they didn't like that for some reason. Many battery chargers are happy with anything from 100v to 240v, so with an adapter you could use the 220 volt outlet - but make sure want you plug in is compatible.
  4. This^ My first milestone was 2009 and was OBC. They don't apply it until a couple of days before your cruise, because cruise fares could drop. I do think they like 30 days notice.
  5. Masks are currently optional, but there are no guarantees that the policy won't change, either in general, or on a specific cruise.
  6. 1/2 pound for 24.99 or 1 pound for 49.99. Let me think about that. I think blue crab is a bargain.
  7. Not exactly. Both the positive test and recovery need to be documented. Plus some other stuff. Document of Recovery Guests who have recovered from COVID-19 within 3 months of their sailing date do not need the required pre-cruise test if they are at least 10 days past their positive test result date, have no symptoms and produce document of recovery from COVID-19. A Document of Recovery is accepted from both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated guests (with a Carnival-approved exemption) and consists of a paper or electronic copy of the positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days prior to the sailing date).
  8. Seafood Shack certainly had oysters and more.
  9. Carnival cruise ships when in Galveston and until they hit International waters. They only serve a subset of liquors due to Texas taxes. It's why Cheers doesn't begin until the 2nd day.
  10. Romeo the wolf https://alaskamagazine.com/authentic-alaska/wildlife-nature/the-wolf-comes-home/
  11. How do you know if you have norovirus? Signs and symptoms of norovirus infection may start suddenly and include: Nausea. Vomiting. Stomach pain or cramps. Watery or loose diarrhea. Feeling ill. Low-grade fever. Muscle pain.
  12. Years ago, the pizza place on Carnival ships would offer salmon pizzas in Alaska, but they were with the usual thin sliced smoked salmon. I think real halibut would be much better.
  13. Look for more ships to visit Grand Bahama once Carnival finishes the new port there.
  14. Carnival didn't make the OP use gift cards - that was their choice. Isn't that what we read so often on other topics? Choice. Now they want Carnival to transfer money to a competitor. Totally unreasonable.
  15. If the skies stay clear... Forecast: Auroral activity will be active. Weather permitting, active auroral displays will be visible overhead from Utqiaġvik to Anchorage and Juneau, and visible low on the horizon from King Salmon and Prince Rupert. but maybe not until late
  16. How did that work for them? It was already all over the internet. Nobody was coerced into signing anything - they were still going to refund the cruise fare.
  17. They moved, but maybe you can find a way https://icystraitbrewing.company/
