  1. I have E-med tests but I may make On-Point reservations for two of the tests we got from Medicare. I got familiar with the testing regime by doing home tests when we thought we were exposed awhile back.
  2. We are sailing on Harmony on August 21 out of Port Canaveral so I will watch this thread. It now looks like our tests only have to be 3 days ahead instead of 2 -- is that correct? If a new thread is started with changes that occur on August 14, 2022, please post a link.
  3. I have read that one of the vaccines (Moderna) may have been tweaked so that its next booster covers Omicron but will believe it when I see it.
  4. I see -- so you have an ocean view even from the second row. Thanks for posting.
  5. Thanks Art. What do you mean by "offset". We're in a GS so I think I'll ask the Concierge to see if he or she can get me a map. I want to be close to the bar and the restrooms.
  6. As we're in a suite, I may have the concierge check where our beach bed is.
  7. Thanks -- I think that Harmony is the only ship in Coco Cay the day we're docked there.
  8. Thanks for all the answers. I think the South Beach Beach Beds have been reinstalled because I'm paying for mine. It sounds quiet. Also, I checked the Cruise Planner an all the Beach Beds were sold out. So I guess I'll stick with what I've already booked.
  9. I am renting a beach bed for our Coco Cay stop next month and currently have a Beach Bed reserved on South Beach. However, I also see that Chill Island has them for the same price. Which beach area is better? I like a quiet beach. Also, which area has convenient restaurants and bars? I rented a Beach Bed on South Beach in 2019 before Perfect Day in Coco Cay was completed and it was very quiet. I also had to order lunch as there were no restaurants nearby. Thanks
  10. i meant DINING package -- either careless spelling or auto correct. So if we bought 3 night Dining Package using the Cruise Planner, it would be cheaper than if we booked a specialty restaurant onboard and then took $25 off?
  11. Does anyone have a St. Kitts shopping map that they could please post.
  12. Can $25 certificate, given to Pinnacles, be applied to a Diamond Package
  13. eMed -- offered through RCI website. Used it for January and April cruises.
  14. The test is proctored --it's over the internet. You log in and then wait for a proctor who guides you through all the steps. You need a phone or laptop with a camera. The proctor needs to see certain things (QV code, you doing the steps) then you wait 15 minutes and a proctor comes back on and reads your test. You get an email with the results. I printed out 3 copies for each of us. I pretty much guided/supervised my husband taking the cruise. It was the least stressful test we've taken. I did it for a solo cruise in January and both of us did the tests for an April -- back to back.
  15. My husband and I each had our own accounts and we have separate emails. We did this in April and will do again for our next cruise later this summer. We have two extra kits that we'll use if we have any problems or save for our November cruise.
  16. We have been doing the emed, which has been less stressful for us. But Walgrees has always be a viable backup. Glad to hear that Medicare picked up the cost of the test. Hope you family were all able to bock tests.
  17. That's interesting -- Junior was the Suite Concierge during our April 24, 2022 Harmony cruise.
  18. We are sailing on Harmony later in the month and I have gotten two email notices so far about a balance being due for my cruise that was fully paid before payment was due in late March. Last week (4-1-2022), I received a "balance due" notice and called the D+ desk who looked at my reservation and the representative said that although my invoice (that she could see) shows a zero balance, my file also has an invoice that shows $50 due. The D+ Rep contacted resolutions and I finally spoke to a Resolutions staffer. This staffer said that RCI is having IT problems that cause these "balance due" notices keep getting generated and emailed to fully payed cruisers. She told me that they have been trying to work with the IT department to resolve the issue. She also told me that my glitch was caused by an item in my Cruise Planner that was cancelled and RCI owes me a refund (rather then my needing to pay $50.) She said that RCI would refund the cancelled Cruise Planner Item to my onboard credit and my Visa (that's how I paid for it). I think the refund has been made to my OBC but no refund has been posted to my Visa card. I was on the phone for 55 minutes. I thought the problem was resolved on 4-1-2022 however I got another Balance Due notice from RCI for the same $50. I talked to a D+ reservationist who finally had me talk to another person in Resolutions. After I held on for awhile, she told me she would call me back once the problem had been resolved with IT. It's been 3 hours and I haven't received a call back. This call lasted 55 minutes. From my conversations with RCI, I understand that this IT glitch has affected many cruisers. They are assuring me that they won't cancel the reservation (we booked a Grand suite and were really looking forward to the cruise). But I want the situation resolved with no more "Balance Due" emails coming to me. I am also afraid of getting to the pier and having no reservation. All of my invoices show that I have paid in full.
