Deployment 2024-25 booking season begins
SherriZ366 replied to Biker19's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Wonder when Allure itineaaries from May 2024 onward will be posted. She is doing short cruises from November 2023 - April 2024 to Coco Cay and Nassau. We're booked to enjoy suite perks at a lot less money than on Wonder. -
Any news of RCCL going back to in person muster drills?

That's exactly what the text said and it quickly disappeared from our text strings. Maybe we got the text as we were originally booked on Wonder for Feb. 26 in a cabin that would have had E3-Bionic Bar as our Muster station. We changed to a May cruise. -

I wonder if a text that my husband and I both received today is related to improving the e-muster. The text told us to report to our Muster Stations (E3 in Wonder's Bionic Bar) to have our sea passes scanned. This will be our Muster Station for our next cruise on May 21, 2023. I wonder if this is a tactic to prod people to complete their e-muster. We're used to announcements for people to complete the drill all afternoon on embarkation day. I think this may have been a practice drill that went viral when it wasn't supposed to. But if this is a new tactic that can make e-muster more successful, I was glad to get the rouge text -- especially as other cruise lines are going back to traditional muster and there could be International Maritime Organization pressure for RCI to go back to in-person muster. As I've posted earlier, we really like e-muster. Did anyone else get a text like we got? -

The menu seems to be better than it was in 2017 on Oasis. -

Or even medium size kids -- sailing with our 11 year old grandsons in August and it will be good for their parents to have them scanned and marked off early in the day. As I posted earlier, e-muster is beneficial to older people who have some mobility issues (even minor ones) as taking steps from a high deck to the muster station deck is really hard. Prior to e-muster, we often uses the elevators a half hour before muster and wait at our muster station. -
You know we always sail from Port Canaveral so it's harder to get a GS on Wonder because there are fewer of these suites. However, Allure is coming to Port C in November and we are doing a back2back on her in a GS -- don't care where she goes -- just want the suite/CK experience. Got a great price when sailings were released. About $2,000 less than a JS on Wonder. Knocking on CK's door doesn't bother me as long as we have a table -- I just pretend we're going to a Speakeasy during Prohibition. 🤣

The 150 menu has changed since we ate there on Oasis in 2017. We may retry it for our next Wonder Cruise. -
Agree -- they can add relevant content to the video. I really love the e-muster and hope that people who will not take a few, non-regimented minutes to complete the process do not ruin it for everyone else. As steps are hard for me, we have to go down early so we can utilize the elevators for traditional muster and then wait until the elevators clear out to go back to our stateroom etc.
