  1. Wonder when Allure itineaaries from May 2024 onward will be posted. She is doing short cruises from November 2023 - April 2024 to Coco Cay and Nassau. We're booked to enjoy suite perks at a lot less money than on Wonder.
  2. That's exactly what the text said and it quickly disappeared from our text strings. Maybe we got the text as we were originally booked on Wonder for Feb. 26 in a cabin that would have had E3-Bionic Bar as our Muster station. We changed to a May cruise.
  3. So maybe they will have more short itineraries on Allure. As I posted above, we're booked on Allure b2b in November, 2023 in a GS to enjoy the suite perks at a prices that is $2,000 less than a JS in Wonder. We almost always cruise from Port Canaveral.
  4. I wonder if a text that my husband and I both received today is related to improving the e-muster. The text told us to report to our Muster Stations (E3 in Wonder's Bionic Bar) to have our sea passes scanned. This will be our Muster Station for our next cruise on May 21, 2023. I wonder if this is a tactic to prod people to complete their e-muster. We're used to announcements for people to complete the drill all afternoon on embarkation day. I think this may have been a practice drill that went viral when it wasn't supposed to. But if this is a new tactic that can make e-muster more successful, I was glad to get the rouge text -- especially as other cruise lines are going back to traditional muster and there could be International Maritime Organization pressure for RCI to go back to in-person muster. As I've posted earlier, we really like e-muster. Did anyone else get a text like we got?
  5. Thanks for your congratulations. We have enjoyed being Pinnacle and we received our package with the pins prior to our December Wonder cruise so we could wear them on that cruise.
  6. Hope Allure or a sister ship will be doing the short itineraries from Port Canaveral.
  7. Lots of onboard revenue when some folks try to get 7 days worth of fun in 3 or 4 days.
  8. The menu seems to be better than it was in 2017 on Oasis.
  9. that's a good observation John. We are in a JS for our next Wonder cruise so keeping fingers crossed for CK dinners.
  10. Thanks -- wondering if Allure will still be doing short itineraries from Port Canaveral.
  11. Or even medium size kids -- sailing with our 11 year old grandsons in August and it will be good for their parents to have them scanned and marked off early in the day. As I posted earlier, e-muster is beneficial to older people who have some mobility issues (even minor ones) as taking steps from a high deck to the muster station deck is really hard. Prior to e-muster, we often uses the elevators a half hour before muster and wait at our muster station.
  12. You know we always sail from Port Canaveral so it's harder to get a GS on Wonder because there are fewer of these suites. However, Allure is coming to Port C in November and we are doing a back2back on her in a GS -- don't care where she goes -- just want the suite/CK experience. Got a great price when sailings were released. About $2,000 less than a JS on Wonder. Knocking on CK's door doesn't bother me as long as we have a table -- I just pretend we're going to a Speakeasy during Prohibition. 🤣
  13. We haven't been "one and done" for a JS for at least 10 years. We try to get good deals (often book when cruises are released) and if possible book a GS (future cruise credits from the Covid shutdown have helped) or try for a Royal Up. JSs have great walk-in closets etc.
  14. Pat -- My bad -- I thought I told you that we made Pinnacle in April.
  15. Have short cruise itineraries been released for short cruises (particularly for Port Canaveral) for May 2024 through April 2025? If they haven't been released, when will they be released?
  16. Then we'll just have to do a few specialty restaurants and take CK when we can get it. We pretty much are wedded to Port Canaveral and are booked on May 21. And I'll put a bid in for Royal Up.
  17. The 150 menu has changed since we ate there on Oasis in 2017. We may retry it for our next Wonder Cruise.
  18. Agree -- they can add relevant content to the video. I really love the e-muster and hope that people who will not take a few, non-regimented minutes to complete the process do not ruin it for everyone else. As steps are hard for me, we have to go down early so we can utilize the elevators for traditional muster and then wait until the elevators clear out to go back to our stateroom etc.
  19. As we are Pinnacles in a JS for our next cruise, looks like we have two methods to snag a CK table. I wonder whether May Wonder cruises will have lots of Pinnacles. I've seen some low numbers -- it looks like Allure out of Galveston has very large Pinnacle numbers.
  20. Did your concierge contact you the week before your sailing? When we've been in Sky Class, we've always had an email from the Concierge early in the week before our cruise. We replied with our CK reservation requests.
