  1. 1) Do you just give them your cruise reservation number? Does doing a B2B cruise create any issues? 2) Is it better to book your air travel plans on their website or would you recommend talking to an Air2Sea representative by phone? If you book by phone, can you ask for that specific representative, or do you have to talk to whomever answers the phone, if you have any questions? 3) Can you use a credit card or airline miles, or a combination, e.g., to upgrade your seat? Can you request a specific airline you would like to use? 4) Does RCI or Air2Sea arrange for pickup from the airport to the port and from the port to the airport? I have a foldable electrical wheelchair that I am bringing. Do I notify Air2Sea about this, or do I contact the Special Needs Department with RCI? Sorry for so many questions, but I’ve never used Air2Sea. I’ve always made my own flight arrangements and booked cruises direct with RCI. Thank you in advance. Judy
  2. Oct 21, the itinerary shows Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia. I guess I should go back to all emails and read them all thoroughly. Thanks.
  3. We have never been to a country that required a VISA. We’re booked for a South Pacific Cruise on the Ovation OTS in October this year. Someone just told me that New Zealand and Australia require VISAS, and possibly Tahiti. We booked directly with RCI. Will they tell us which countries require a VISA? If they don’t notify us, does their website provide the info or will they give us guidance if we call them? How much time does it usually take to get a VISA? HELP please! Judy
  4. Thanks for the info. I’d stick with the OASIS class.
  5. To avoid Shabbat, I’ll check the itinerary to be sure we’re not in Jerusalem on Friday and Saturday! 😂 I enjoyed your post.
  6. Thank you for sharing. Thoroughly enjoyed your post. Researching for cruise in the Holy Land in 2024. Which month is best to visit?
  7. Thank you for the info. So, 12 and above is considered to be an adult. I was just curious how that worked. When we cruise, we don’t want to share our room with anyone. 😂. So I was asking in case my daughter, granddaughter, and the great-grandkids decided to join us on any cruise in the future.
  8. Curiosity question: When “KidsSailFree”, does a single parent with 2 children qualify, or does the single parent pay for 2 adults and only one child sails free?
  9. I’ve got to check out the prices! 😍
  10. We have the Chase Sapphire Preferred Private Client and the Chase United Airlines cards. Like you said, trip insurance included at no additional cost. We have an RCCL card, but we don’t use it. We got one thinking trip insurance included or discounts on travel and no foreign transaction fees. WRONG! We stick with our Chase cards which offer these benefits. We found no special perks with the RCCL VISA card.
  11. I don’t use my cell phone as an alarm clock, because I totally power off my phone while charging overnight. I like a digital travel alarm with batteries so that I know what time it is when I wake up during the night.
  12. We’re only Diamond and never went to the DL during their previous happy hours. We only went to the DL to read or play sudoku on our iPads when hardly anybody was there. The library was always too loud. 🙄 We only used vouchers outside the DL. So - we’ve never been in the Concierge or Suite Lounge. 💁
  13. Too bad. She got me started crocheting for the homeless - before the pandemic. They were very appreciative when I donated three bags full of hats of all sizes and baby blankets, especially because Florida had a cold spell at the time. When we moved to Hawaii, I stopped (just the start of the pandemic). Send her my aloha.
  14. Just an FYI for inquiring minds, she makes baby items and donates them to hospitals. ❤️
  15. Considering it takes a second to check to see if you have a message, it’s no big deal to me. We could check on the quarter hour, and it’s only when you’re separated.
  16. However, when we booked with Next Cruise on our cruise in May, we got both the C&A Diamond balcony discount AND OBC - not to mention we only put down a $100 pp deposit on an 18–night South Pacific cruise. 😁
  17. Are you having any problems with your iPhone or IPad since updating? BTW: I really enjoy your contributions to this forum. Very much appreciated.
  18. My husband and I will be using that service on future cruises. We will check or send texting on the quarter-hour. Takes just a second to check your messages every 15 minutes. So, to us it’s worth it.
  19. I didn’t think that round trip tickets had big discounts anymore?
  20. My husband’s sister used it for the first time when she went on a European cruise. She swears by it - especially traveling from and return to Hawai’i.
  21. I wouldn’t want to download the photo and pay for professional printing or print it on a home computer. 😳
  22. Ok. Duh. I had clicked on it, but I didn’t realize that’s what it was. Thank you so much. I guess once on board, when I select “Okay”, that’s when I purchase that service. Many thanks to you and mac66. Mahalo.
