  1. What was on the "A" menu that you loved?
  2. All shows are reserved onboard through the App. There were always seats available but we went to the later shows. The ice show is spectacular and fine for children. Showgirls is ok (not my fav) but I can’t remember if there were any inappropriate acts. We did not eat in the main dining room so can’t answer that, although I heard good things. The food in the windjammer was good. Typical buffet food but lots of options. Enjoy your cruise!
  3. Yeh my TA said not to use NCLs air or transfers, so we don’t. Uber/Lyft all the way. I am glad you had a great cruise with good weather! Your photos showed that good times were had by all. 🥂🐀🥂
  4. Agreed! I’d be moving mighty slowly if I mixed drinks like that. According to your FB posts you were up early for transit. You are a better woman than I @Sailing12Away Hats off to you!
  5. We just went through that two weeks ago on the Navigator. You enter the terminal in the same line BUT when it comes to boarding they did call Suites first.
  6. For anyone needing info, we went in the CB and enjoyed our suite. The balcony is NOT as large as on the Grand, but still nice.
  7. We did this and did not enjoy it. Yes, seeing the old locks was nice (once you go through the first locks it gets redundant) BUT the "boat" they used was basically a barge with lawn chairs and an awning for covering. There is no air conditioning onboard. The food they served was not very good (breaded chicken patty and salad) and they started to run out of the free waters. They had a woman who sold beers for $2 but she only had one cooler worth and they were all gone in the first hour. What was supposed to be a 6-7 hour tour turned into 10 hours! You are at the mercy of the Panama Canal operators. The bus ride there was an hour and 15 minutes and the return ride was an hour and 40 minutes so keep that in mind as well. Your children will get very bored, hot and thirsty IMO. We wish we had just stayed on the ship!
  8. Perhaps you misread what I said. I was referring to STAR class not sky class. Sky class is more like the regular suites on NCL and Princess. STAR class beats out the Haven. You get free deluxe beverage package (DBP), Free unlimited specialty dining (UDP), Free Wifi, A Genie who does much more than a Butler does, and special "gifts and surprises" during your cruise. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the Haven too.
  9. Nope you are correct. It is not like RCI Star class where everything is included. You do get a shared butler and daily snacks included along with a private restaurant, lunge, bar, pool/hot tubs and sun deck on the ships that have a "real" Haven.
  10. @Sailing12Away Inquiring minds want to know - Did they ever find the lost suitcases??
  11. Well that is downright stupid on NCL's part. Veuve is MUCH more expensive than Moet.😂
  12. Ditto to all that was stated above OR if you want REALLY want specific times and don't mind OBC, book and pay for the times you want now and get refunded onboard. You will not be able to book dinner on the first night but you can book the other nights and lunch on the first day. Yes, you will have to pay upfront but your money will get refunded as OBC once you speak to a restaurant manager.
  13. Some earlier threads were reporting that there were limited umbrellas in the Haven area. Can you please report on that? Thanks for the great review, and enjoy your cruise!
  14. I love how they do those rainbow shots! All in one pour too! Glad you are having fun😀.
  15. Yeh I’m starting to think that the staff don’t understand the rules either. Sometimes we could get a full bottle of Veuve and other times we couldn’t. We shall see what changes they make for our April Prima cruise and try to go with the flow. If they want to keep running back and forth filling my glass then so be it.
  16. @Sailing12Away Do you remember the name of this drink? Looks yummy! Great tribute to Marty BTW. Have a wonderful time in Cabo!
  17. Yes they were heated. They load them up with chemicals so make sure they shower afterwards. Cabo is one of our favorite places. Have a great cruise!
  18. I agree, very unusual. I always give a very generous tip to our concierge, but not this time. Our cabin attendant got a great one because he was fantastic!
  19. One thing I have been meaning to comment on is the issue we had with the Ultimate Dining package (UDP). Prior to cruising we booked Chops for lunch (and paid for it). I knew once onboard they would give us OBC for this charge because we had the UDP. We found out that even though they offered Chops for lunch online, in reality, it was not open for lunch. We moved over to Jamie’s instead. Also, the concierge was supposed to book all of our dining reservations ahead of time as she stated in her email to us. When we got onboard and went to our first restaurant they did not have our reservation. None of our reservations had been booked. Luckily they were able to seat us and booked all our other reservations. As for the Chops refund, it took several attempts to get the manager of Chops to finally give us the refund. The concierge told us on the first night that our money would be refunded, but by day 3 it still was not refunded. We had to go to the Chops manager and watch him refund it. I’m not sure if the concierge was to blame or the restaurant manager. Lessons learned - check your reservations when you board to make sure everything is set, and check your account daily to make sure everything is correct.
  20. Unlimited Dining Package. You can eat at the specialty restaurants for lunch (embarkation day and while at sea) and for each dinner.
  21. Nice! 💜 Represent! Enjoy Cabo. It’s one of our favs. What are you planning to do there?
