Usually sea days. If you start with 2, it could be either of those days. Usually the 2nd to last day also unless the day before that is a sea day. You'd have to show your itinerary for anyone to say definitively.

Never heard that Elites can take one guest on the tender. That's a new one for me.
My husband goes with me. Same cabin though

I have not seen the Princess casino offer a ‘slot tournament’ since restart.
I also do not see anywhere where author mentioned a slot tournament.
Author has only mentioned they reached ‘casino points’ goal based on play on machines.
I've been in 2 slot tournaments since the restart. My son won $2500 on the Enchanted last October.

I've never done 4 in a mini but in my early days, we did 3 in a interior. Shower schedules!

I've done 8 cruises since the pause. Some have been wonderful in all regards...Sapphire, Discovery...and some not so much.. Royal. Still enjoyed them all.

We've self-carried our luggage off a ship a few times, mainly because of early flights. But what are the pros and cons of self-carrying your luggage onto the ship?
We're sailing out of Seattle in June and won't board until around 2:00. Would prefer to unpack right away instead of waiting X hours for our luggage to be delivered. Thoughts?
Carry on luggage will fit thru the security scanners, a full size suitcase will not. That's why people don't do it.

Suekel, When you call room service to order, do you get to pick what type sandwiches they bring? I would hate to be wasteful as there are only a couple we would eat.
I don't know. I never specify anything. But, except for tomatoes and sushi, I'll eat most anything.

I do it every cruise. Next month I'm traveling solo and will still do it. I'm taking baggies so I can save the leftovers and put in my fridge.

After reading about some of the issues with staffing, service, crowded dining rooms, sewage smells, crowded shows and inability to get tickets (whatever that means), I’m having some regrets booking Princess (we did so to go to Alaska with friends).. We have been sailing on Azamara with none of these issues. I know we will have a good time, but I sure hope they get their act together before July
I've done 8 cruises in the past year. On only 1 was there staffing issues. Everything else was great.

I've been in the mini's next to them. They are significantly windier than the ones between them. Would I book one? I would. But see the caveats from Cobber76 especially on motion,

Usable but slow last December

I usually book thru the airline because it's cheaper unless it's a multi city. Plus I get more miles.

Then that's why the limit was still $12. The hadn't yet repriced the drink menus so that drinks (especially lower end wine) that used to be at or near $12 are now at or near $15.
No, the drink prices had gone up. Specialty drinks such as the Dirty Banana had gone up since my cruise at the beginning of February. We did end up paying the difference on some drinks but mostly it was fine.

That’s my issue. I have read varying reviews with some getting the $15 limit minus the new extras and some reporting $12.
I also have premium for later in the year purchased at the old price as well.
Doesn't,t seem much point in booking early if they just change the goal posts after you book. Looking at the bar menus the $12 limit now excludes quite a few of the things we might have ordered within the packages before and the wine choice looks dire.
As my account is now showing the package at all I’ll have to wait until I am onboard to check what the answer - for this week at least!
Yes. Princess isn't known for it's consistency and this seems to vary from ship to ship. It should not. Sapphire still had the old menus in the MDR and Sabatini's so maybe its just her.

I got off the Sapphire 21 days ago. We had the old plus package and we were limited to $12

I get that a lot on Chrome. Works better on Foxfire.

I was on her a couple weeks ago and ate there twice. 18 day cruise. We ordered what we normally get in the Crown Grill and I found it to be just as good. The atmosphere was ok but if there are loud talkers in there, it can get loud.

We had Club Class so we ate in Santa Fe. Western type decor. I went to the Chef's table in the Savoy and thought it was much nicer. Food the same but better decor.

Thank you for your great review. We sail the Royal next month.
Did you utilize room service at all? Wondering if one is able to order a specialty coffee drink (i.e. Latte, Mocha, etc.) and a cocktail via Medallion that way.
Yes

There are numerous threads on this

Yes except if you're in a suite. Then no.

It depends on the OBC. Some is not given until you are on the ship. I have 725 in OBC on my next cruise. I could use the OBC from using my FCC and shareholder. The rest I could not.

We are Platinum and soon to be Elite and have sometimes booked Suites (partially to get credit for 2 cruises). Now that there are Plus and Premier packages, there seem to be a lot of overlapping perks like internet. Seems that if you are in a Suite or Elite, the packages become less worth the price? Also seems like if you are Elite, the Suites become less worth the price like mini-bar set ups, canapes, embarkation lounges and free laundry. What are the other overlapping perks? If you are Elite, do you still book suites?
I do..just got off one a week ago. There are no internet perks for a suite. You get it 50% off for being Elite. Depending on the length of the cruise, sometimes I like 2 mini bar set ups. Last one was 18 days so it was great. Laundry is faster in a suite regardless of how many Elites are on board. It can take up to 3 days if a lot of elites are on board, in a suite it's either same day or next day depending on what time your steward picks it up. Room service is faster. You can order from the MDR and eat in your cabin or on your balcony for any meal the MDR is open. I do the plus package also...if you're in a suite your daily gratuity is more so it's actually a benefit of the package since the package price is the same regardless of cabin. I aso like my mid afternoon specialty coffee. And maybe a wine while I dress for dinner. To sum up...I'm elite, I love a suite and I always buy a package.

Thanks for sharing. It's hard to imagine any Florida city flooding badly enough to close the airport. They have to be prepared for hurricanes after all.
I'm sorry for those who are affected. I'm glad the cruise I'm on now is returning to Galveston. They had their flood issues last week.
I was there in February and it was raining hard. Flights were delayed. Our Uber ride to the airport was terrible as they have no decent sewer system. And that was just a few inches. This was 22.

No, he can take advantage of my benefits mostly but he has to earn it like everyone else. One more cruise and then he'll join me.
